We stopped into the pub for a drink and a bit to eat. Had never been here before. Was pleasantly surprised. Service was excellent as were the staff. I had ordered a small nachos and exclaimed when the server brought it that ' I ordered the small'. She said it was a 'small'. My two friends had to help me eat it. Was v good. The atmosphere, too, was perfect. Not loud, but also not stagnant. Just a nice, comfortable hum of friendly conversation. It was a v nice visit. I'll b back.

I had a great stay here. The hotel is conveniently located near downtown and Chinatown as well as near a municipal parking garage, making parking convenient as well. Many great shops and restaurants within walking distance. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed for two nights in September 2024. The room was quite comfortable as was the bed. No AC but in September we were fine at night. We ate at the pub the first night. Food quality issues were many. Cold skinned greasy funky tasting chicken on the salad, the dirty martini was gross, olives or the juice was bad, the creme brle was artificial banana flavoured and the crust was fridge cold. We complained, the manager was fair and reworked the cheque. He confided that its a great burger and fry pub, i get that. For late evenings drinking munchies sure. The service rating of 2 stars was based on the martini and cook. It does not reflect on the hotel staff or the manager that were lovely.

Noisy! We stayed in the top floor room above the lobby last week. There was a rooftop party until at least 1:00 am. It was very loud, music and people yelling and laughing. We called the lobby just after 11:00 to complain but nobody answered the phone. We didn't get to sleep until the party was over. You can also hear very well what is going on in the room next to you. We talked to the receptionist in the morning who first tried to deny that we had called in the evening, and after I showed my phone log, she said that we should have come to the lobby. But we were already in bed and didn't want to get dressed again. She gave me a business card with the rooms manager's email. I sent an email a week ago but never got a response. We paid $300 for one night, but the service was very poor. Don't stay there if you actually want to sleep!

What cool hotel! Walking distance to everything. Room was perfect, view of the Blue Bridge and harbour. Hotel has some great history and character. Will definitely stay on our return.
