Made with Cryo Pop hops, it’s distinctly tropical, opening with pineapple and peach and ending with grapefruit and distinct bitterness. (There's some stone fruit in there somewhere, too, we think.) It’s made in memory of Paul McKinnon, an excellent guy who battled cancer to a draw this summer. Amongst Paul's hobbies was sailing remote control battleships on a pond in Dartmouth. Although Paul struggled to make edible cheese, many will miss him. We’ll make a donation to the Terry Fox Foundation.

A low-carb, sparkling Rosé. Refermented on red raspberry and blood orange purees with added electrolytes via a very clean mineral-rich sea salt, and potassium chloride. Approximately 4.5 g of carbs per 473 ml serving. Gluten-reduced (< 10 PPM) with the use of Clarity Ferm during fermentation. *NOT* a sports drink!

After a great experience years ago, this was at the top of my list of Halifax craft breweries to revisit. Excellent beer and a perfect playlist totally fit the chilly Saturday night atmosphere. Kudos to bartender/DJ Rose for the solid vibes - and for having an excellent closing time entourage led by Flora!

Going to get into some of this unfiltered beer tonight. It certainly isn't going to take me 12 years to drink it. But according to a big fan, Jim Moody, this is the best IPA/Beer in #Canada. # Wow #GoBeer

Great craft brews, especially their Schwarzbier "play with fire" - super smokey, and their IPA flagship Exile on North. Charm School Pub" plays , hands down, some of the best tunes in town, for a certain vintage of geezer who never minds the bollocks or rocking the Casbah.

Despite the banner inside saying "This Place Sucks," we had some great beer and friendly service! Punk rock vibes all around, pretty small place but the selection was great. Had a Double Orange Ale, Exile on North Street, Hellevator, and Flat Black Jesus. Highly recommend the first three!

Amazing beer. Great music and you can bring in some fried chicken from next door. They are opinionated and critical of other beers and breweries, but their beer backs up their words. Are you an IPA lover and beer snob? Do not miss out.
