Our take on the beer style that started the craft beer revolution. Carefully chosen malts (2Row, Carapils, Caramunich) support the waves of hops (Magnum, Citra, Simcoe) used in the boil and fermenter. Huge tropical aromas and a hint of pine and citrus while Californian Ale yeast keep this beer clean and bolsters the hops flavours.

I went for dinner in restaurant and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious, and the best part was that the chef sent us a dessert they had created that day. We were delighted. Recommend the fish cake and the curry with rice. Try their sweets and the cheesecake.

My team and I had an incredible time at Gahan House! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for our Secret Santa gathering. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a fun and memorable night. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the curry chicken, which was a standout dish for me. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was on point. Everyone else in the team seemed to thoroughly enjoy their meals as well. The drinks were equally impressive, with a great selection of craft beers that complemented our meals perfectly. The overall experience was fantastic, from the cozy ambiance to the delightful food and drinks. Gahan House truly made our team outing special, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to eat, drink, and celebrate with friends or colleagues.

Beauty spot in the heart of the city. Went out for a bite to eat on my own and decided to try somewhere new. Popped in and it was a little busy as it was Valentine's Day, but it was just me so I grabbed a seat at the bar. Grabbed myself a Beach Chair beer, it was nice, very beery like for those that don't like the crazy craft beers. I ordered up the steak sandwich with roasted potatoes as the side. The plate was a little meek looking, no real presentation, or maybe it was that the plate was so big for the serving of food. The sandwich was fantastic. Cooked exactly as I asked. The steak was tender and easy to get through. The ciabatta was light and fluffy having soaked up all the juices. The potatoes were fantastic. I love this alternative to fries. Smaller sized potato, some nice seasoning and just roasted! Was a great experience. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Since I focus on rating food quality in all my restaurant reviews, I will give this place three stars. The service and atmosphere create the impression of a family dining experience, but the food is underwhelming. I wouldn't recommend spending your money on the kid's menu. My son ordered the burger and said, "The burger was pitiful." My youngest didn't even touch the pizza. My eldest enjoyed the waffles and thought they were good, although the chicken was over-fried. On a positive note, the apple cinnamon pancake was really good, but it was quite sweet, so be careful with the maple syrup. The eggs benedict was nice, though the hollandaise sauce tasted more like mayo. The salad was fresh and perfectly balanced in seasoning and dressing. One more thing: some of the meals come with fruit. Don't set your expectations too high; it's just a few berries and a thin slice of orange. Overall, the place is a bit expensive for the quality of food served.

Saw the reviews for the chowder and it did not disappoint! The portion was larger than I expected and it was really good. The bun was a nice touch. The oysters were great as well mixed with their signature sauces.
