We were recommended this place for their food. I had the carnitas tacos which were good, I liked the flavor and appreciated that it doesnt come with avocado or a lot of heavy sauces (i just dont like avacado). My sister had the nachos, which she also enjoyed and had enough left to bring back to the hotel and eat later that night. To drink, i had a root beer, but my sister had the NE IPA and thought it was delicious. The enviroment is a lot of fun with modern decor and a spacious layout. The staff was friendly and patient with how long I took to order; I hadn't had the foresight to look at the menu before going. They have a QR link to the menu on each table, but also small printed menus at the bar just in case.

Awesome line-up of beverages! The west IPA and super Mosaic were the tables favorites. Great service. The building is on the louder side. We had the Chips and Gauc. Sooooo good! Awesome smokey salsa. Highly recommend it.

Very welcoming atmosphere! I asked one of the waitresses (she was great but didn't get her name) why it's called Shelter and she said so that people can COME AS THEY ARE, no judgement. It's great if they truly believe and live like that! Their own craft was great and food hit the spot too! I had Al Pastor and my friend had a burrito, delicious Had really good conversations with waiters and waitresses, great team out there! We kept chatting with Mackenzie that machine for paying kept timing out on us (need to change settings or get a new one) Awesome place, you will see me again!

A unique concept in community seating. We experienced thus on a trip to Europe and it works beautifully there. Here in Sask though it has been a hard sell for any place that has tried it. It's nice to see it working here at Shelter. Wd need more of it. Good beers, super friendly staff and a great friendly atmosphere. We will be back.
