We love a good microbrewery and the low-key, laid-back atmosphere here is perfect for a relaxing night and sampling delicious beers. A drink menu mostly named after the surrounding streets in the neighborhood makes each of them memorable. While we enjoyed all the beers we tried, the standout for us was the smoky and refreshing weissbier style: Esplanade. We could honestly drink that one all day. We loved the simple yet colorfully natural dcor and the very decent playlist making for an impeccable vibe.

Finally found a reason to visit on their Oktoberfest party. If you like good lagers, this is the place in Montreal. Absolutely worth the detour in the old knickerbocker district. Sunny place with a terrace out front. Lukr pours of classic lagers, kolsh, Vienna, martzen, ect. Service at the bar was efficient.

The beer is good. The food offering is very limited. Had the grilled cheese with ham and coleslaw and it was very good. The most annoying thing is that when you order a pint you never know if you are going to get .5 liters or much less.

Visited on July 18, 2020, in early afternoon. Located in Montreal's Garment District in Ahuntsic, it opened a few weeks before the COVID-19 lockdown in the province of Qubec, talk about bad timing! But somehow they are still open, mostly because can sales on the spot and in some retail beer stores and like most places in Montral, they have reopened to drink on the spot last June. Operated by Jean-Phillippe Lalonde, the former brewer at La Succursale in Rosemont, he brought his style to this new place, mostly lagers. This brewery reminds me of Ma Brasserie (also in Rosemont) in looks, mostly outside, inside is a bit smaller but cleaner and more morder. Even it's far from downtown, it is easy to get there with a bus line on that street and enough parking space. Their tap list is mostly their brews and those of Birra, a contract brewery from Montreal's Little Italy, and a few invits (Dunham on that day), a good variety of styles. They also have some wine and snack food. Louvain, the Svetl Lek is top noch. So if you're a fan of La Succursale, you'll love this place!
