Really nice space for a casual bite in wolfville; the service was great and and nice variety of food. The chicken tostadas were delicious but the burger was pretty dry and the fries were just ok. It's a bit expensive for what you're getting but still relatively good.

So sad that you no longer offer gluten free fish and chips! This was my favourite place to get them and I always looked forward to stopping by on any trip to the valley. I sadly discovered this on my most recent visit (even though the website says gluten free still available). Instead I ordered the Bangkok Noodles, and they were disappointing. Our server was absolutely lovely though and checked in on us often! My husband got the chowder and said it was pretty good.

I received a recommendation to go to church brewing co and it didn't disappoint! The atmosphere was really unique. The patio was very large and the tables were spread out, not crammed together. The ceilings inside were really high. We did eat on the patio. It was beautiful nice and clean and well kept garden. Food was delicious. Not too many options for gluten free but their were a few. We Had the salmon bowl and the friend chicken sandwich. It was delicious. The patio was also dog friendly, there were a number of dogs there while we were there.

A church that has been converted to a brewery/restaurant is such a creative idea that I had to stop over in Wolfville just to check out the place. Aside from the very intriguing atmosphere, I loved their salmon dish - the ingredients is similar to a Japanese/asian dish. So very tasty and flavourful.

Disappointing to come at 4pm in the afternoon see 10 empty tables on the outside and be told a 45 minute wait. Typically with wait times like that it's because all tables are full. Clearly understaffed and should look at better managing the schedule better.

  • Married To the Sea

    Style: Porter - Other

    ABV: 5.6    IBU: 0

This beer is a tip of the hat to the Porters made in Germany in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, inspired by the rise of popularity of the London Porter. These German Porters would have a base of pilsner malt and would be lagered for three to six weeks. This beer has extraordinary complexity, yet drinks like a clean and delicate lager.

  • Saltwater Joys

    Style: Sour - Traditional Gose

    ABV: 4.4    IBU: 0

A hazy straw colour with a billowy white head. The aroma is intense and complex with extremely tropical fruits, mango, papaya, pineapple, lemon, and lime zest. The flavour is bold fresh mandarin oranges, lemon, pineapple and mango, with a puckering sour zip at the finish. The salty character balances the sweet and sour leaving the desire for another sip.

  • Sanctuary

    Style: Belgian Enkel / Patersbier

    ABV: 3.8    IBU: 0

Our interpretation on the sessionable Trappist beer. Enkel, which means 'single' is our Belgian-style house beer. This bright golden ale is effervescent with bright spicy aromas, floral notes, and hints of honey that finishes delightfully dry.

    ABV: 5.1    IBU: 0

This is a cloudy straw coloured beer with a tight white head. The aroma has lovely notes of bright orange zest and a spicy peppery note from the yeast and coriander. The flavours are full of that lemony wheat character, slightly acidic with a nice bitter spicy backing. This is a very effervescent and dry beer that is very soft on the palate.

The beer pours a deep glowing glowing fuchsia with a dense rocky pinkish head. The aroma is bursting with a fresh fruit wrapped in subtle spice of clove and pepper. The flavour is still full of fresh tart red raspberry, a little earthy, and a lovely honey note that balances the tartness. This sparkling ale finished dry with just enough tartness to make oneself smile.

A rich chestnut with burnt copper hues and a dense eggshell head. Big spicy cloves on the aroma with caramelized sugar, plums, and figs.
