Stopped by today for the first time with my husband. We recently moved into the area down the street. My husband and I aren't beer drinkers so we were pleased to find out this place serves cocktails and wine. We met Don, who was very accommodating and attentive. When he noticed our glasses were near empty, he came over and topped us off with was left over from the near empty bottle. Extremely thoughtful and great customer service. Pretzel was good and the margharita pizza was even better. When we left, Don walked us to the door and left us with free beer flights for our next visit. (Even though we don't drink beer much) it was the gesture that was much appreciated. We will definitely be back, Thank you North Paw!

I came out to see what's around the area and came in with a couple of my girlfriends after work and had such a delightful time with Don. He was very approachable and very good with entertaining us guests. His interaction made our group very engaged and had the drinks flowing! North paw is such a very inviting and community forward establishment. For sure come and visit!

I honestly haven't visited the actual brewery, but I did happen to try their Foxy Brown Ale while having dinner at Los Cuervo Taqueria in Vancouver. Absolutely loved it!!! I will definitely make the trip to PoCo to visit the brewery soon!

I'm glad to see how Lower Mainland's brewing scene is growing, so visiting one of POCO's brewerieswas necessary. The taproom is located in aquietplace and pretty cozy itself. Once we arrived, there were only two other patrons, but the place got pretty busy by the time we left. It looks like they put a lot of time into porters and stouts, which I'm not into currently; however, I think they produce great products. I've read comments where people blame brewers for mixing unmixable, and quite honestly, I haven't tasted anything like that. I wasn't a big fan of some beers, which is absolutely normal, but I definitelycan't tell that there was a bad or lousy brew. I thought Jamaican Pale Ale had a unique addition of spices, Gimme the Loot dark IPA was unexpected deliciousness, and BA Juicy Hazy was great. Also, if you have someone with you who is not into beers much, Christmas CREAM is a good choice for them. I wanted to trySolstice IPA, but unfortunately,it wasn't available on tap, so I took a 4-pack home along with 12 oz glassware, and I regret nothing.
