Style: IPA - New England / Hazy
ABV: 6.5 IBU: 0
Our flagship hazy IPA at Flora Hall is a tip of the hat to the style bending New England IPAs that shook the craft beer scene to its core. Boatloads of oats for a creamy body alongside an aggressive dry hop of Vic Secret, Citra, Mosaic, Sabro, and Enigma. Think tropical fruit salad appetizer with a stone fruit entrée and a juicy dessert.

Brewed with a blend of strains isolated from Kveik, a non-purified yeast used in traditional Norwegian Farmhouse brewing and intensely dry hopped with Citra and Cashmere and a little bit of juniper. Waves of stone fruit and lemon flavours end with a pleasant field berry note. It’s fruity, hazy, and easy drinking. Best enjoyed while wondering, is it “kuh-vike” or “kuh-vake”?

The stout was excellent I had three. It was so good in fact I had a dream last night where I was trying to race to Flora Hall for a pint, before I had to be picked up to leave for home far away. Unfortunately I did not have my pint. So now I'm hoping to go back for one. edit: 20 Dec 2024. came back, had a pint. very happy. also tried the Foeder aged imperial chocolate stout. Delicious! Ok i have to add this: im writing this as i drink the chocolate stout and oh my gosh its so good. its so sweet and thick its incredible. might be my new favourite. Alcohol content is one thing though i could probably drink it on monday and still be tipsy by sunday. Im a lightweight though. its delicious. please try it.

Amazing brewery in Ottawa. It was the best brewery I found during my trip and I tried very good ones also. We tried different IPAs styles and then asked for recommendations to the bartender, she took her time to give us a great suggestion. I would definitely go back.

Came here with some friends and got the seafood paella. Good portion and super flavourful, not the traditional style but still delicious. Also had lots of protein!! It's a good spot for larger groups 4-6 people and nice vibes. The pricing is also not bad for what you get. Love this spot!!

I had read some comments saying the hostess and/or server have an attitude or are rude, and as a french-speaking tourist, it scared me a little. But I went anyway and I had a positive experience! I even saw a server holding a dog's leach as the owner went inside to the bathroom! Beer was good, place is beautiful. I did not eat, so I can't comment on the food, but I think the menu was larger than on the website. It seems to me there were more options. So don't let the negative comments discourage you to go try this place!
