It was a while ago now that we toured SOB, back when it was a smaller operation, but well worth the visit out to Sooke to check it out. The owners gave us a great tour of the "backroom" and talked about all of their product, which we then sampled of course. SOB has the distinction of brewing the best Gose I have ever had, anywhere. They do it as a limited one off cask that I was lucky enough to have access to several years back. I haven't been back since the got the patio going but need to schedule another visit real soon. The Renfrew Red is one of our favorites of the more readily accessible offerings.

Stopped in with the wife and doggo's for lunch and a beer. Red ale was delicious. Patio was great, had little hitches for the dog leashes. Food from the food truck next door was awesome. Views are great also! Patio could probably use some music but we really appreciated the heaters and the owner checking in with us.

Good atmosphere and good beers. Some more richness in flavour would be a bonus for the beers. The food was pretty good. The mac burger was our favourite. Would have liked a little more flavour from the quesadillas. We're a little bland. Overall though was good bang for your buck.

Awesome beers (especially the apricot one!) and great view of the water. The brewery is next to a cheese-foward food truck where you can order a bite to eat. The patio is also dog friendly
