Style: Red Ale - Irish
ABV: 3.5 IBU: 0
Our Irish-style red ale is a balanced beer that uses a moderate amount of kilned malts and roasted barley in the recipe, which gives the beer the color for which it is named. Featuring an approachable hop bitterness which rests on the palate, this amber-colored beer can have medium, candy-like caramel malt sweetness, which help dry out the beer's finish and lessen the body.

This German-style hefeweizen is straw in color and brewed with 50%+ malted wheat. The aroma and flavor of a hefeweizen comes largely from the yeast and has strong fruity(banana) note and slight phenolic (clove) note.

Rather like a foreign stout without any roasted barley; or an over hopped albino Irish red. This creamy-textured, straw-gold ale offers up suggestions of buttered toast, warm cereal, and a trace of fruity, herbal hops.

Interesting little place. When we first visited, it was a startup in a garage and has grown in size since. We got a great tour by the owner/operator and sampled some of the new brews. A bit out of the way so best to do it with a tour so you are not driving, but well worth it.

I discovered this Sooke craft brewery from Stoked pizza. I wanted to go buy some tall can taster singles, direct from brewery. Great selection of craft brews! Staff was friendly & helpful. Pricing was good. They have covered patio area & also uncovered picnic table area. Dog friendly business.

Well worth the detour from the main road. There was a great variety of beer options, and the on-site food truck had an excellent pulled-pork poutine! The Tire Biter IPA was my favorite from the flight I ordered.

Great beer, great people, and a great food truck. Also, a great dog. Every beer I tried had great character; the brew master here is spot on. Try the food truck. I'd been disappointed by at least three hamburgers in the past few weeks at various other places. Not here. Value for quality is fantastic and the burger is juicy and delicious.

Awesome spot a little off the beaten path! Super friendly staff and awesome selection of craft brews. Fun eats onsite, gotta try the deep fried mac and cheese with spicy ketchup, souvenir shop and to go beers to support the locals!
