Collaboration with Collective - A Craft Beer Shop. Once upon a time, the folks at Best of Kin accidentally stood up Collective on the scheduled collab brew day. Fortunately, all was forgiven this special collab brew still came to fruition. The beer was inspired by a Paloma cocktail - mimicking the combination of smokey mezcal, smoked pineapple, pithy grapefruit and lime with a subtle hint of salt. This is a legit Paloma…but a beer!

Collaboration with Collective - A Craft Beer Shop Grapefruit West Coast IPA Brewed as an homage to one of our all-time fave "back in the day" IPAs. A heavy dose of Mandarina and Amarillo, for those big citrus notes, and Apollo joined the party to ensure a massive bitter bite. With an even heavier dose of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice and a session of steeped rind, the pithy grapefruit notes make this an unmistakable tip-of-the-cap to a West Coast classic.

In some circles, this beer is simply known as "The Boss", but his friends call him Spruce Springsteen. This sophisticated beauty has a hazy body and subtle bitterness, complimented by an elegant dose of fresh spruce tips.

Had a wonderful visit to Best of Kin. I ordered a lovely light beer known as Dad, and for something to eat I picked out of the menu the Korean barbecue chicken sandwich with a kale salad. The sandwich was absolutely delicious. The chicken was smoked with a lovely Korean barbecue taste on a crispy sourdough bread. I highly recommended. The salad also was delightful with a light salad dressing and sweet mini tomatoes with croutons.

Great place with great food, drinks, and atmosphere! I loved their fish and chips. The fish was fresh and great portions for price. We also had the brisket pizza which was amazing. They have some awesome events too which you can check out on their website! The live music on Friday was really nice. Can't wait to be back!

Great food and beer! Lovely place for a date night. I had their passion fruit cider and enjoyed it. Their flight was also good although you don't get to customize it. My partner describes the beer as basic but great? They have a "Dad" beer. Solid good beer, nothing fancy. We had the smoked brisket pizza and fish and chips. Great value for the portion size, super tasty too! The only thing was that the smoked brisket was surprisingly spicy for me and wasn't marked on the menu but I am very sensitive There's ample parking on street and a private lot in the back as well. Free street parking after 6pm.

It was a quick visit because they had a function to prepare for but were kind enough to stop in and have a beer. We sat on the patio and I really liked the set up of it, and the booth we sat in was perfect for the time of day. My wife and I said we would both go back and give their food a try, the next time. Now as for the beer, I had an IPA which I truly enjoyed and definitely would have had a second one had we been able to stay. Cold and very smooth! Now the best part for me was that the patio was dog friendly, and I had my dog with me at the time of visiting. Waitress also was very courteous to bring her out a bowl of water! So yes, not reviewing the food yet, beer would get a 5 star for sure, but overall I enjoyed the time spent there with my wife, daughter and dog! Totally would go back!

Great place to grab a bit to eat before an activity nearby. I was able to make a reservation via email for our group of 6 on a Saturday night at 5pm. The smoked brisket pizza was really good, the dry rubbed smoke chicken wings was a bit too salty. The fish and chips were decent too.
