We made a point of having lunch to try something different than the usual spots. Lots of Asian inspired dishes that were very tasty. We had the bao buns, pork dumplings and delicious duck wings. Service was prompt and good timing on table touches. The industrial style of the space was prevalent as soon as you walked in which lended to a less cozy atmosphere but still a cool space. Great beers and cocktails!

Taco Tuesday. I paid $18 bucks for 6 bites of these non tacos. The positive is that they were excellent. Amazing flavour with the pork and spicy bite mixing well. The negative is that they were smaller than my hand and now I still need to have dinner. At least my Trans Canada IPA was solid. I feel like this place is too posh for me. I generally dislike when restaurants get too fancy with their spins on classics. Blake certainly trends too far in the direction of trying too hard for me. Staff also seem way too stuffy for me. I won't return here, but if you are rich and want way too small portions of great tasting food, go nuts.

Lovely lunch on a Monday with ample parking. We were greeted right away, seated with water and menus. It was 1130am and the food was deelish. My gf had been before and the burnt ends, fries and duck wings are a must. The dumplings were good but not as fabulous as the rave reviews stated in my opinion. Our waiter suggested a half portion of fries and it was huge. We only ate half of half portion! I definitely will return next time I'm in Canmore. They have a large patio and a private room as well. I get how some other reviewers commented about the atmosphere being garage casual with an upscale menu. That seems to be based on a mindset. Great food can be found anywhere. With Google, you can see pics of restos before dining there. The view outside is gorgeous as we sat next to a window and the music was not too loud. We felt comfortable and this vibe may not be for everyone. You should enjoy great food eating in jeans, yoga or ski pants. Rant over. Please visit this place and don't judge a book by its cover.

Timing may be everything. We were a little early for dinner and it is the off season so we're sure that may have been a factor, but none-the-less, it was almost library quiet when we began our meal. Overall, the food was good and service was great. If we get the chance to return, perhaps the experience will be more lively if we come at another time of year.

No way this place should be less than 4.5/5 stars. My buddy and I went here 3 times during our week-long vacation here because the food was that good. In particular, the duck wings were fire. They were crispy and had a nice sweet glaze on them. Also, the braised lamb dishes, including dip sandwich and the fried udon noodles hit the spot. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If you're looking for chill vibes, good beer, and excellent food for the price, you must go here.
