A complex beer with the punchy profile of Rye malt balanced by the rich almost nutty flavour of Maris Otter. Throw in heavy-handed late hops additions and you have a beer that challenges every taste bud on your palate.

This Double IPA is bursting with tropical flavours - pineapple, papaya, tangerine and honeydew melon, with a lingering bitterness. And it's no wonder as it contains an enormous quantity of every exotic hop in our inventory - Mosaic, Citra, Pekko, Jaryllo, and Amarillo. Drinks smooth and juicy despite its high ABV.

This brew is a blend of multiple batches of The Son aged in bourbon barrels. Expect a fragrant winter spice nose with notes of vanilla and slight toasty flavours emanating from the oak. A thought provoking distinguished stout.

A blend of Eightball Milk Stout and Naughty Uncle, this stout has a caramelized creamy texture and a distinct rum finish. Very unique one-off batch.

First in our new series of sour beers. The prickly pear fruit not only provides a deep neon angry pink hue but lends this kettle sour beer notes of watermelon and bubblegum. A generous dry hop addition of El Dorado hops brings forth bright tropical flavours. We are pumped about this one!

Marysburgh Vortex IIPA with 80% locally-sourced ingredients, including heavy handed Chinook, Citra and Pekko hop additions, balanced with @barnowlmalt Munich Malt. Be wary, at 8.5% ABV this imperial IPA may suck you in with no explanation. In case you are not aware of the Marysburgh story it goes something like this: it was a clear sunny day late in June 1900 when Captain J. Sidley, his young son, Vessy, and their crew of five left Rochester, aboard the 100-foot schooner Picton. They were bound for Belleville with a load of coal, and their ship was just one of over a hundred vessels that would be claimed by the waters of the Marysburgh Vortex over the course of 2 centuries. Juicy like a tangerine and absolutely delicious

We took our Mousetrap Rye Pale Ale and aged it in Kinsip House of Fine Spirits Main Duck Island Rum barrels and came out a masterpiece - Carribean spices on the nose and palate contribute a warming effect balanced by a mild sugar cane sweetness reminiscent of a Scotch Ale. Dangerously smooth.

This Imperial Stout chimes in at 8.5% ABV without the slightest trepidation. Luscious dark cocoa and delicate coffee notes are evident within this malt-forward monster of a beer that maintains a velvety smooth balance despite its high ABV.

A recipe developed years ago with Big Spruce Brewing, Cape Breton for our annual Grape Harvest Party. Dark auburn in colour with a malt forward profile that is balanced by the floral aroma of whole cone hops straight off the vine from Pleasant Valley Hops in Hillier. We use County barley malted by Barn Owl Malt making this as local a brew as we could muster.

Such a lovely place to spend and evening with friends having a pint. Parsons has a wide selection on offer and this was a brewery where all 4 choices I had in my flight were outstanding and I couldn't honestly pick my favourite. If you are just looking for something easy drinking, go with the Crushable Pilsner. I made a reservation and I'm glad I did. It was a lovely Friday night and it was very busy. The service is great. Staff were friendly and attentive and did a great job despite how packed it was. On the food side, it is a bit of a hit and miss. The portions are okay and the pork belly I had was amazing and tasted great. But, it felt a little steep for the price compared to the portion size. There is a huge area to enjoy here. It is kid and dog friendly, with activities and a play area to keep everyone entertained. There was live music the night I was there and the artist was great. The music was fun and upbeat without being so loud you couldn't talk to the person beside you. There is also lots of parking (on gravel) and everything is on one level so it's accessible for wheelchairs as well. I also have a soft spot for places that grow their own hops on site.

I had a great experience at Parsons Microbrewery and Restaurant. Their smash burger was rich and flavorful, with a perfectly crispy cheese covered patty that added a satisfying crunch. It was on the heavier side, but if you're craving comfort food, it definitely hits the spot. I paired it with their Crushable Pilsner, which lived up to its name light, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the richness of the burger. The laid-back atmosphere made it a great spot for a casual meal. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for good food and solid craft beer!

The staff is awesome, the food is very very good and the description of the beers is pretty entertaining! Great place for a good supper after a beach day ! There's outdoor games for children to play so the parents can enjoy their beers We really enjoyed our time there. If still on the menu, make sure you order the corn it's so delicious , we reordered a second plate

One of the better breweries that I've been too. Food was amazing and delicious! Beer options were endless and very tasteful! Portions sizes I found a bit small compared to price you're paying but I guess that's what you pay for when it comes to quality. We got the chips and guac, empanadas, and ceviche, all very good to start. Service was very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was good too!

We came to Parsons for my boyfriends and Is 2 year anniversary. It was genuinely one of the best meals and dates we've ever had. The host greeted us and congratulated us on our day, leading us to a private area with complimentary wine. This was nice enough with the amazing views and atmosphere but the food was incredible. One of the best meals I've had in years and totally unexpected. Everything was amazing but try anything from their grill *chefs kiss*. Its been three months but we still talk about this meal weekly
