A generous dry-hopping evokes aromas of lemon blossom and delicate citrus with soft tropical fruit notes, while the pallet expresses a balance of warming spices, a soft herbaceous quality, melanged with fruity, juicy notes of banana, orange, melon, and berries. A perfect treat to get you in a spring state of mind.

This beer really is all about precise bitterness and heavy aromatics. We're guessing you might be wondering 'WTF is a Landbier'? It roughly translates to “Country Lager” in German, and that’s exactly what this is. Brewed exclusively with locally grown Barn Owl Lager Malt, and using Pleasant Valley’s Cascade hops in the kettle and dry hop, it’s a great reflection of what a 'Prince Edward County' beer can be. Expressing fresh floral, citrusy notes and ultimately thirst quenching, Leisure Landbier finishies clean and crisp.

We wanted to brew another West Coast inspired beer, featuring Pleasant Valley Hops' Centennial, Chinook and Cascade hops BUT we have also been pining for a new crispy yet flavourful lager. We wanted the best of two different worlds... so naturally we decided to combine them. Expect citrus blossom, slightly herbaceous, delicate pineapple and resin notes on the nose. The bright citrus carries through to the pallet with a more restrained floral and pineapple character. An all-malt body is balanced with a well structured bitterness that leads to a curiously clean finish. It just ends, clean, crisp and dry - and you're like give me more, so you keep drinking it.

A malt leaning lager with a balanced hop note on the finish, this is a great seasonal transition beer. Brewed to highlight Barn Owl’s Munich malt, this lager is a little younger, maltier, darker and less hoppy than our mainstay lagerbier Yeasayer. Only around at the beginning of october, when this beer is gone, it’s gone. Deep, rich golden to pale copper in colour, with a beautiful off-white, persistent foam. Malt-forward, rich back bone without being sweet, a touch of zesty, spicy and floral hop character to balance, finishes crisp and dry. Naturally carbonated.

This beer is festively made using cranberries and spruce tips, it is balanced and ultimately (very) drinkable. Expect elegant spice notes on the nose, a pleasant tartness coming entirely from our use of cranberries that will leave you with graceful undertones of spruce playing in its finish. We’ve dubbed Merrymaker a Farmbier, utilizing exclusively Barn Owl Malts, Pleasant Valley’s hops, and its fermented our house Saison strain from Escarpment yeast on Quebec cranberries and foraged spruce tips.

Made with Grange Winery pressed Pinot grapes, aka they served double duty, these coveted PEC grapes fulfilled their destiny to make delicious wine. We picked up the left overs. 100% Ontario, 4%. 355ml tins and draught.

Palomino Pilsner pours a deep golden hue with fluffy white head. Spicy and herbal hop notes on the nose, with light sweet cereal note in the background. Medium full body and a natural carbonation adds a pleasant mouthfeel with a slightly sweet malt backbone giving way to a crisp hop character. Herbs and light floral notes from the hops linger as a hint of bitterness stays on the palate.

This beer is so friggen delicious, brewers were smiling IRL during the creation of this beer which if you work in the industry you know is as mythical as a unicorn.
