Light bodied lagered-ale, thirst quenching with a crisp, crushable & clean finish. Fermented Warmer than most lagers and conditioned cold for weeks at a time, this beer is extremely easy to drink & a beer you can depend on.

Style: IPA - American
ABV: 7 IBU: 63
Style: Kveik IPA Appearance: Cloudy & deep orange with a fluffy head Aroma: Strawberries, nectarines & subtle citrus Overall Flavour: Juicy papaya, green mangoes & stone fruit with a lush mouthfeel and a mellow finish Beer-Geek Cheat Sheet: Juicy, fruity hops utilized for low perceived bitterness, support a base of pale & wheat malts, making this IPA deceptively soft & creamy. It’s not a NEIPA, as it utilizes a Norwegian Farmhouse yeast, but it is definitely hazy and juicy! This is a new style of IPA that focuses on the juicy flavour of hops, instead of the bitterness. They are often hazy from the technique & amount of hops added during fermentation, in conjunction with the strain of yeast.

ABV: 4.9 IBU: 22
Style: Black Lager Appearance: Deep amber black & nearly opaque, with a thick tan head and nice lacing Aroma: Subtle root beer, fudge brownie, pear & cacao Overall Flavour: A German inspired, black, lagered-ale with tastes of toasted coconut, dates, chocolate and mild roast Beer-Geek Cheat Sheet: Avante-garde, risque, and even ‘punk-rock’ rebellion encompasses this recipe of a Black "Kolsch" from our brewer. German ingredients, starring a Kolsch yeast, and noble German hops. This provides a profile combining that of a classic German Schwarzbier with the German Kolsch yeast, fermented a little warmer than traditional lagers, but aged cold.

Style: IPA - Session
ABV: 4.7 IBU: 50
Style: Session Ale Appearance: Golden with contrasting white lacing Aroma: Grapefruit, candied ginger, pine with floral undertones Overall Flavour: A light toffee malt sweetness complimented by lingering grapefruit & hop resin bitterness, packaged into a clean, crisp & crushable finish Beer-Geek Cheat Sheet: What is a “Session Ale” you ask? Lower in ABV, balanced with distinction, and easy to drink all day - it’s sessionable! Crushable even. Yeah, this beer is crushable. You can crush it just like your favourite session...be that a spin session, surf session, jam session, makeout session or a good old fashion cry session. Let it out, and let it in with Estuary Session Ale.

Style: Sour - Other
ABV: 5 IBU: 40
Style: Dry-hopped Tart Kveik Pale Ale Overall Flavour: A stellar explosion of white wine grapes, citrus & gooseberry. It’s sour, sweet, then gone. Beer-Geek Cheat Sheet: To our delight, a tart ale fermented with Norwegian farmhouse Kveik yeast and dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin & El Dorado hops was born! Kveik’s orange fruity esters are complemented with a generous hopping of Nelson Sauvin & El Dorado hops. The beer was lightly kettle soured to an appropriate level to that of a dry Sauvignon Blanc grape. The result is a tart, dry beer that is like a supernova of flavour in your mouth. A SAUVIN SUPERNOVA IN YOUR MOUTH. And this beer contains no sauvignon blanc grapes - we swear!

ABV: 5.2 IBU: 31
Style: Belgian Style Saison Appearance: Golden pale with a rocky white head Aroma: Orange, clove, fruity Overall Flavour: Crisp & bright citrus with characteristic Belgian yeast notes of citrus, pepper & clove Beer-Geek Cheat Sheet: Complex malt profile of Rye, Oats, Wheat, Munich & Acidulated on a base of Pilsner malt. This malt profile lends itself the complexity and mouthfeel to hold up to the refreshing and spicy notes of the Belgian yeast strain used during fermentation. Accentuated with bright hops, the lemon flavors of Loral shine through. This beer is crisp & refreshing with a higher carbonation and is a great accompaniment to many fall dishes.

This is a collaboration brew with our friends at Wildeye Brewing! Midnattsol is Norwegian for Midnight Sun, which celebrates the enhanced amount of sunlight during the long awaited seasons of the sun. This extra sunlight promotes exceptional time for plants to grow, leaving wild edibles like Juniper ripe and ready to be foraged. With the love of the variety of Norwegian Kveik (yeast) strains, we decided to brew something a bit different to highlight these farmhouse yeasts & plants of the midnight sun. Inspired by the traditional Sahti brew, this IPA was brewed with kilos of foraged juniper berries. After fermentation, we aged the beer on kilos of spent botanicals from our friends at Wayward Distillery’s Unruly Gin. The result is a complex Hazy IPA that boasts a beautiful bouquet aroma, fresh herbal & citrus notes, a full mouthfeel and a dry resinous finish. Skoal!

The brewery to visit in Comox. The food was very impressive for a brewery. I had the Hawaiian beef wrap. Amazing. The Ebb and Flow Hazy was a perfect pairing. Get one of the patio tables if you can.

Stumbled across this spot near an Airbnb we were staying at. What a gem. Great outdoor patio, tasty beer and the nachos were INSANE. Like nachos you've never had before. No one does nachos like this. Seriously, did not disappoint, so good they should be illegal. And HUGE. So many toppings and so much flavour. The wings were pretty awesome too. Our server Abby made our night. Fantastic service and personality. Definitely a great place to gather and enjoy the evening.

Great beers and delicious food! We tried of a variety of beers, I enjoyed the porter and sour. We shared 2 platters of nachos, corn and chicken. Both were delicious. 2 trays were plenty for 5 adults. The brewery is kid friendly. They have high tops and low tables. You can see in to the kitchen and can smell all the delicious things being made. I love their branding and purchased a pair of sweatpants from their swag selection. Minimal parking on site but we were able to find in street parking across the street.

We tried a few of the breweries during our week in the Comox Valley and Land & Sea was our hands-down favourite! REALLY good brews, great food, friendly service and a good patio and atmosphere :) Our only complaint is that there were no T-shirts in our sizes. The branding is awesome and we would have liked to rep it at home. Nonetheless, we highly recommend Land & Sea!
