Great spot for good beers and food in the valley! The jerk chicken nachos were the star of the show! Prices were reasonable and great portion sizes. The beer was very tasty - I'll be back!

Went to Ace Brewing for dinner after a day at Mount Washington. There were four adults and two little kids in our group. We were all warmly welcomed and treated so well, even when the two-year-old was, you know, being a two-year-old. The food was great, the staff were so friendly and helpful, there were games and activities to keep the kids occupied, and the beer was delicious. Something for everyone! We will definitely go back next time we're in Courtenay.

Aces Brewery's brisket tacos are the reigning champs of the Valley's taco scene, and for good reason! These tacos are like a symphony of flavoreach bite is a spicy, smoky, and succulent masterpiece. The brisket is so tender it practically melts in your mouth, and the toppings are a delightful dance of freshness and zest. Wash it down with a cold beer!

Great patio and really tasty beer selection. We tried most of the beers available and they were all really tasty. Also loved that they had the beers available for purchase in cans to take home. The beer cheese and pretzels were delicious.

  • Raspberry Creamsicle F@#%! Bomb Sour

Style: Sour - Smoothie / Pastry

    ABV: 5.5    IBU: 14

Our F-Bomb Raspberry Creamsicle Sour is a tantalizingly tart and sweet brew that captures the essence of a classic summer treat. We start by adding generous amounts of fresh raspberry puree to the mix, giving the beer a bold and fruity flavor that's balanced by a crisp and refreshing sourness. To create the creamy, dreamy mouthfeel of a classic creamsicle, we add lactose sugar to the mix. This lactose sugar provides a subtle sweetness that's reminiscent of vanilla ice cream, while also giving the beer a velvety smoothness. For the finishing touch, we infuse the beer with bourbon vanilla, which adds a rich and complex flavor profile of oak, caramel, and bourbon, as well as a warming hint of vanilla sweetness.

Sometimes you have to embrace the trends and combine all the beer hype words in one beer! Introducing Socked In, our Kviek Hazy Double IPA. This beer was brewed with a large proponent of wheat and oats to give the beer a silky smooth body and mouthfeel. Loads of Citra and Mosaic hops were shovelled into the kettle and then the beer was fermented with a Norweigen Kviek strain from @escarpmentlabs to give the beer a mango and guava punch. In the fermenter this juicy delight was dry-hopped with Citra and Mosaic hops followed by a second dry-hop of Citra and Mosaic cryo-hops. The resulting beer is fruit forward with notes of orange, mango, blueberry, pineapple and guava. Limited quantities available, tap room only.
