This place is massive for a winery/distillery that's open to the community. Love the modern and warm atmosphere. Flight tastings are $24 for 4 glasses with decent and hefty pours. We came for the discovery pass event 26 January 2025 and got the Vidal ice wine with butter tart with brandy raisins. The ice wine was okay. This is a Canadian dessert I hear and it's good and very very sweet. Pure brown sugar and butter and a nice butter crispy crust. Lots of history here about Wayne #99. Plus an ice skating rink and fireplace. Cozy and fun. And great for the environment solar charging stations outside near the ice skating rink. Go Gretzky!

We went to the Wayne Gretzky Estates to pick up a bottle of their coffee liqueur to give as a Xmas present. We were impressed with the building and the grounds. There is a restaurant, store, outside bar, ping pong tables, and of course an ice rink! The liquors and wines were fairly priced and they were fully stocked for the holidays. There are very unique gift ideas in this shop. The products are well displayed and the store does not feel crowded. It was hilarious to hear how many people asked how often Wayne came over and if they got to hang out with him. The gentleman at the cash register was funny, friendly, polite, and made sure to talk to everyone. We had a lovely shopping experience!

This place has a winery and distillery under one roof. We took the tour which was short and sweet and had some wine and whiskey tasting too. You can buy too from their outlet. Be mindful that their collection aren't readily available at LCBO so better stock it up if driving from far off. Their maple whiskey and the salted caramel liquor are the best so far. They have some good collection of souvenirs too. There is an outdoor restaurant where in you can relax and enjoy the food and music.

We had the best time on our private tour with Ken because we were the only two signed up for our tour slot. Ken was a wealth of knowledge and shared a lot about the history of the winery and how it came to be as a partnership between Gretzky and Peller Estates. We got to do a couple of wine tasting along with a tour through the distillery and the liquor making process, ending on a couple of whisky samples. Tip: if you have visa infinite, you get half off on a tour! What a great hour of educational entertainment. Thanks Ken!

The fam and I stopped by on NYE and the place was pretty packed, but luckily we secured ourselves a few seats and then copped two wine/spirit tastings. Both my wife and I don't know much about wines or spirits, but we enjoyed most of what we tried and ended up purchasing a bottle of their sauv blanc. While there, we decided to grub on a few eats as well. The tuna wasn't for us as it had a slightly fishy taste. Not sure if it was the tuna itself not being the freshest or if it was something else on the plate. Nonetheless, no one got sick afterwards so I'll just chalk it up to us not really digging the dish itself. The surprise hit was the banh mi. Usually my daughter shy's away from the traditional cold cut version, but she was really diggin' the meatballs. All-in-all, I'd rate our experience a solid 8.1 and would definitely come back again if we were ever in the neighbourhood. The Great One does it again! #TomEatsYummyFoodBecauseWhyNot
