As someone with a wide variety of beer taste loves exploring diverse flavor profiles, I usllually gravitate to IPAs, I had tastes two of them the day I was there. Both had an unpleasant similar aftertaste. Great location with live music I wish the beer was better. There were a lot of people there so maybe my hopes were too high.

Great beer, a fun upbeat vibe with live music on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and a hearty dose of childhood nostalgia. Growing up in Forest, farm work, especially picking rocks was a regular gig for me. Countless stones picked on hundreds of acres each summer especially along what is now Aberader Line. So naturally a brewery right there themed around this work had to be visited as part of my Ontario Craft Brewery grand tour. My partner grew up urban, so they've heard some of the small town jargon like crop tour and stonepicking, but didn't know what they really meant. The meaning of crop tour was eye-opening. The outside area is well shaded in a grove trees. The musicians playing were quite good. It's just another thing to love about a craft brewery is that they provide a venue for so many musicians. I really enjoyed Stonepicker 21 and Hack "N" Slash was my partner's choice. We visited with old friends who were like me from the area, so nostalgia was plentiful! Great beer, great setting! I've been a few times. Close to my trailer and found by searching. Love the variety of the beers. The people are always nice. Sometimes not as knowledgeable on all beers but that's fine. Went again on a Thursday afternoon with my wife's uncle visiting from England. They don't have micro/nano breweries there so this was a fun time!! Very enjoyable, lots of beers to try. Free popcorn. What's not to like??

If you're driving past on the highway, it's worth the 5 minutes up the road. I will admit, I wasn't sure what to expect with the long driveway to the farm house, in the middle of kind of nowhere. Such a pleasant surprise. Very large outdoor seating area, with the large connect four and cornhole. Tap room is a decent size, with the farm themed decor, including a full size tractor stuck on the wall. The beers were decent, very malt forward, even with their IPAs. They must have some good water because they all had a fantastic smooth feel.
