Extra Hell is a dry and bitter pale beer brewed with Ontario malt that was decoction mashed and brewed with European hops. It was primary fermented with clean yeast and then allowed to age and dry out with a fruitier yeast. It's can conditioned and like drinking a blend of pils and clean saison.

Brewed with pils and wheat malt and dry hopped with Citra and Nelson Sauvin. This beer is bursting with aromas of white grapefruit, fuzzy peaches, and guava. Extra clean, bubbly, and bright with a medium bitterness and a crisp, off-dry finish. Our take on an IPA, and one you'll want to drink again and again.

Primo is a pale Czech lager made with our friends at Escarpment Labs. Brewed with Czech pilsner malt and hopped with lots of Saaz. This beer showcases Escarpment Labs' Premium Pils yeast. Malt aromas of bread, caramel and honey with spicy and herbal notes. Rich malt flavours accompanied by a firm bitterness. A well-rounded and easy-drinking lager.

Great draft and bottle selection, unique and subtle taste profile. Worth trying the spontaneous and smoked beer. There is a large garden patio area on the top of the hill. Dog friendly. Update: Their harvest dinner was amazing with great beer pairings over the 5 course meal. Also their private hiking trail loop is about 1km, takes about 15mins up the small hill that overlooks Mono township.

Very nice brewery with a tap room. They also have a beer garden but it was closed when we went. Opens in few weeks towards end of May. Interesting selection of beers on tap. Can order samples. Seasonal and fruit beers at $6, lagers and ales at $4. The Riesling beer was very interesting. Tart beer. We enjoyed it. Also liked the lager. They have a few board games as well. Staff is friendly.

I've been enjoying Sonnen beers for a few years now but (finally) checked out the brewery and I'm so happy I did. The place is amazing. The vibe here is super chill, the staff were great. Greeted us as soon as we walked in and took care of us really well. The beer garden is really nice, big, and laid back. Lots of room for everyone. The beers speak for themselves, 10/10s for me and they make some of my favourite craft beers period. The property itself is really nice too, a beautiful farm with some nice trails running behind the brewery to check out and take some pics on top of a hill with nice views. We'll be back soon!

Tucked away in a quiet nook of rural Ontario is an unassuming brewery that brews big. Its "Not Another Spiffy" blended saison sour is characterised by a stone fruit foretaste, and a tart, acidic aftertaste. The sour taste is a gentle blanket over the olfactory sense. Hubbub IPA has that fruity, creamy grapefruit tang that will send the appreciative taster for refill after refill. The Munich malty lager is an interesting beast: a light lager that has a slightly malty note that carries the overall flavour. The stout is surprisingly light, yet no less delicious for that! It is full-bodied, with a subtle roasted flavour that demands sip after sip as you search for all the different flavour profiles. Magnificent!

Sonnen Hill has been one of my favourite breweries in Ontario for the last couple of years, but yesterday I finally made it out there. We arrived about 20 mins before close and the staff were so warm and understanding, they even offered for us to grab two drinks and take our time while they slowly closed up. It's such a beautiful spot with refined, impeccable beers. Can't wait to get back!
