I've been to my fair share of Brew pubs and this is one of the finest. The atmosphere is cozy and cool. The beers are great and the food from Tomlin Subdivision was amazing. For anyone visiting who likes beer, food and atmosphere you MUST stop here.

I had a fantastic experience at the bar! The bartender was incredibly helpful and enthusiastic while introducing the holiday menu. One of the go-to places when visiting Thunder Bay. Good, refreshing, well balanced beer. The service has always been good, and the place has a good atmosphere. Recommend their Rauchbier (when available) - the smoky flavour is fantastic. Thoroughly enjoy their IPA as well.

Great venue and wonderful staff. Drinks satisfy and something new is always popping up. The adjacent SUBDIVISION is very convenient for delicious food. Seating options vary so that large or small group can be accommodated. Grabbing a drink at the bar alone is a pleasant experience with knowledgeable bartenders who can chat or leave you be (if that's your thing). I love to bring friends from out of town or someone who has never been before as it never fails to impress. Very proud of this business and how is prioritizes having a welcoming safe environment for everyone. Definitely a GEM in the downtown Thunder Bay waterfront area.

I love this place. Its amazing atmosphere, sheer space, great beer and partnership with Tomlin Subdivison make it an excellent place to gather for some drinks and food. Another awesome thing is that they host so many events and there's always no cover! Lakehead Beer is an accessible and safe space for everyone
