This is a beer we’ve been dreaming up for a while, so we’re stoked to finally share it with you. Old Sport is our take on a Czech Polotmavý, meaning half-dark lager. It’s brewing process was a labour of love, involving decoction mashing and lagering for an extended period of time. The finished product is a well-balanced, malt-forward lager with a brilliant deep amber hue. It’s super sessionable at just 4.4% yet packed with flavour, bringing forth notes of caramel, bread crust and honey.

Silvester was brewed with a traditional and time consuming technique called decoction, which provides a whack of benefits including an increased depth of flavour and mouthfeel. As a result we’ve got a beer that’s deep amber in colour with warming notes of caramel, fresh bread, and toasted nuts. A holiday TREAT!
