Our Sunshine City Blonde is our flagship beer and our first beer in the LCBO - starting in Spring 2022. It is an Ontario Brewing Awards winner in the Pale American Ale category, as well! Sunshine City Blonde is named after Canadian writer Stephen Leacock's literary references to the City of Orillia in his work "Sunshine Sketches of a Little Town" 1912. We honour the numerous and sometimes humorous usages of "Sunshine City" throughout the local community and, so too, embrace it as the namesake of one of our most popular brews.

Back to back medals at the ONTARIO BREWING AWARDS since we opened: 2020 GOLD MEAL - BRITISH BITTER, November 2020 2021 BRONZE MEDAL - BRITISH BITTER, December 2021 We were blown away when we found out that we'd medalled AGAIN at the provincial level (Ontario Brewing Awards) for our Atherley Pale Ale. As one of our core brews, that we serve on tap, nitro and in cask in the Taproom - this is a pretty. big. deal. Especially for such a classic style and as a new brewery! Atherley Pale Ale is named after the community and bridge that connect Orillia to the eastern shores of Lake Couchiching and Lake Simcoe. The bridge is a symbol of connection: for the communities, between nature and civilization, between the geography and history of the region. Tasting Notes: English style pale ale pours with an off-white foam. Floral notes and essence of apple, pear, caramel, spice – with a hint of marmalade, present in aromatics and flavour. Suggested Pairings: maple crème brulee, roast Chicken, fish and chips, any cheese you love!

Mariposa Märzen uses Munich Type I & II and Vienna malts, and Magnum and Mittlefruh hops to achieve the flavours of a classic Oktoberfest brew. Whether enjoyed in a bustling beer hall or a cozy backyard gathering, this lager promised to bring a touch of Bavarian magic to any occasion.

This super crushable lager is made to be drank out on the dock, around a campfire, and beside the barbeque. Not too bitter, not too light, we think this is the perfect summer crusher.

Stopped in for beer, stayed for food. Service was great, reception was more than welcoming. The beer and food were great! We had the chicken wings and the smash burger. Both portions were more than fair, and the quality of the food was impressive. We were very pleased. I would have liked to have seen more emphasis and enthusiasm regarding their beers. A chalkboard across the room (that not everyone can see from their seats) doesn't make the focus on their brews. A beer menu and descriptions would go a long way Will definitely visit again

This is hands down the best restaurant in Orillia! They make everything fresh and from scratch (best actual handmade burger I've ever had in a restaurant!), the beers are super tasty and the people are so friendly and nice. Was the best experience going out for lunch with my mom, can't wait to come back here!

Heading home to Hamilton from Haliburton, Couchiching Brewing seemed like an obvious place to stop for lunch. A dog-friendly patio is always a good sign for us. My partner had a flight of Couchiching brews, but I was enticed by my old favourite Cherriosity from West Avenue in Flamborough (Hamilton). From her flight, Meadow Haze NEIPA was tremendous, and several cans came home with us. While picking those, she also found Strawberry Kiss (for me), which was delicious. The taproom is quite spacious yet still seems very cozy. For lunch, we had Frites and aioli, cheesy rosemary focaccia, and the Falafel plate. All were excellent, and sadly, no leftovers remained. Terrific staff as well! Thanks, Jenna, for looking after us and our dog. August 23, 2024 S, M, F, C & J

We love bringing tours here! Great brewery that has awesome food and gives our groups some very in-depth tours. The best charcuterie boards we can find with some amazing beers to pair!
