Disappointed. Came for a live music event by a band called Double Experience. Pretty nice setup inside. The chairs aren't particularly comfortable. I had the meaty Mac with pulled pork. It was as good as you'd expect, nothing special. The portion was half of what I expected for $16. It came in a cardboard dish with a thin piece of cardboard underneath on a metal tray. Seems rather wasteful when a single bowl would have sufficed. Pop refills aren't free and it's $4 for a single glass. All in all, I will not be spending money here again. There are better places that charge less. Phone service isn't the best here and there's no wifi available to make up for that. There are no blinds or window coverings on the south facing windows, so prepare to either wear sunglasses indoors or be blinded, even if you're having away from them if you're sitting next to them.

We stopped in at Broadhead Brewery in Orleans on a hot day. There was a live band playing which was a nice surprise. We tasted 4 different kinds of beer, with our favorite being the blueberry blonde, and Neipa. We enjoyed a beautiful and tasty charcuterie board along with warm pretzel bites and dips. While we sat inside to endulge in the air conditioning, they do have a really nice patio, equipped with umbrellas for shade, a bean bag game, and speakers to hear the band playing inside. Definitely worth a visit. T

There is a great patio that you should certainly get out and see. Just perfect for the summertime. In the evening the sun fades behind the buildings and you can get the heat, without the sun in your face. A great selection of beers to choose from on tap. I always try a flight when visiting a new brewery and the their lager was a great drink on a hot day. There is a menu and they do serve food. I didn't try anything but it certainly smelled and looked great. I noticed lots of families visiting on a Friday evening, which goes with the welcoming nature of the brewery.

Came here for a drink after working outside all day in the heat. To be honest, I'm not a beer person at all - but I have to say the blueberry blond was very nice! I ordered the beer sampler and surprisingly the cucumber tasting beer was also quite good! We were alone on the patio so we had the cornhole game to ourselves. Looking forward to coming back and trying their menu as their apps looked quite good.

It's a great local Ottawa brand and their 'new' taproom is a nice spot for a can run, quick flight, or a meal with a date/friends. Live music scheduled often, a beer pour style for every taste + at least 3-4 rotating seasonals in their 174 Series for those of us more beer nerd-types. Give it a try - you will keep coming back!
