Style: IPA - American

ABV: 6    IBU: 60

Hop forward yet approachable, clean and balanced with pleasant citrus aroma from plenty of West Coast hops to bring out the juiciness. This beer is rotational on tap and is sometimes available in cans, but it drinks best on tap.

Style: Pale Ale - American

ABV: 5.2    IBU: 26

Another flagship beer. Citra, Centennial and Cascade hops make this beer elegant, clean and citrusy. Just as a WCPA should be. During his time at UC Davis, BrewMaster Ken drank a lot of this style of beer and wanted to bring the experience to local beer fans. This is a yet another balanced and crushable beer for the folks who like the hops!

Style: Bitter - Session / Ordinary

The style is called “Bitter” but it is not. At all! (Blame the UK for the name) It’s clean, crisp and NOT BITTER! Slight malty backbone with balanced sweetness. Well loved by our regulars and is a regular on tap and in cans.

Style: Porter - English

ABV: 4.2    IBU: 23

This is a dark beer with nose of light roasted grains, mild chocolate and toffee. Mouthfeel is mild with undertones of coffee. This is not a heavy beer at all, it drinks smooth and easy. Try one and you will see why it is a staple here at Blackbird.

This "ordinary bitter" is neither ordinary nor bitter. clean and slightly sweet with no discernible bitterness, notes of toffee and subdued caramel malt backbone. Lightly carbonated, lit it warm up a bit and you'll feel you're in a British Pub.

An 11 week lager brewed especially for Oktoberfest. A very pale reddish beer lightly hopped to showcase the smooth malt flavor. This version dials back the alcohol of the classic. A decent malty background with a nicely balanced finish. Zum Wohl!

Style: Wheat Beer - American Pale Wheat

American style wheat beer using Sasquatch hops from B.C. Crisp, clear and crushable. This is not a hazy clovey German style wheat beer. No banana here folks. This was brewed for summer drinking on the patio and is draught or growler only since it shoud be served fresh!

This is a Blackbird take on a traditional classic. Malty backbone and judiciously hopped with Northern Brewer and Cascade. This beer has a lager crispness while being fruit forward with woody nuances and a finish with hints of caramel.
