My boyfriend and I had an absolutely amazingly wonderful time at yurt 10! We originally only booked for 2 nights but pushed it twice as I was just so peaceful and they truly make you feel like it's a home away from home! We booked yurt 10 and got the package which included the use of the golf cart, kayaks, bikes to go in the trails, wood fired hot tub and sauna, as well as a tasting platter of absolutely outstanding alcohol such as their famous Virgo vodka, and wide selection of rum, whiskey, beers and ciders all crafted and made right there! I am looking forward to trying their wine when it's ready I'm positive it's going to be just as amazing as the rest of the selections. We had an exceptional amazing experience in the sauna as we were laying relaxing in sauna the speckled trout were jumping constantly as it is stocked by the owner and he feeds them. It was so peaceful and relaxing to have a sauna over the otter pond full of fish! When we arrived the hot tub was ready to be used and we were provided with 3 bags of wood/ kindling/ paper and were happy to provide us with more wood any time we asked throughout our stay they even delivered it to us. It was such a treat to have such delicious fresh ground coffee every morning! When we first got there the trail to our yurt was washed out due to a very heavy storm then after it cleared up they fixed the trail and it was much easier to drive the golf cart on. Just up from the yurt was our own private bathroom with a shower and a kitchenette in it. They nicely even provided female products just in case. And there was a sponge and dish soap provided as well as cutlery and plants and bowls. They even offered a laundry facility to the guests and it was coin operated but we were very thankful for that as it was nearing the end of our road trip and was needing to do laundry. We were even allowed to take the kayaks back to yurt 10 which is surrounded by ocean and has a beautiful view of the sunset, sunrise and while relaxing in hot tub there is a beautiful view of the moon rising and the stars! Just up the hill from yurt #10 they have bee hives and you might even see the bee keepers up there collecting their absolutely amazing honey which you can get in gift shop. They have a beautiful flower field with lots of beautiful area with fun painted and crafted chairs where you can just sit back and take in the beautiful nature around you! It was nice to stay in a place run off of solar power and wood stove. Kendra and Glenn are very friendly amazing people and always happy to see us their worker John was also very friendly and helpful with bringing our kayaks over and bringing us wood when we were getting low after the hours of the office he still helped us! When we had our tasting Kendra was very fun to chat with and told us a bit of the history of the alcohol my personal favourite is their Virgo vodka (the mermaid is what attracted me to the bottle) which is made with wheat and their maple rum my goodness their rum is outstanding! All in all Authentic sea coast yurt in the vineyard is a must see and stay if you have the chance you won't regret it especially yurt #10

We stayed for three nights in yurt 10 and then one night at the DeBarres Manor house. We had an amazing experience. It was our first Glamping experience and it would be hard to top. It was serene. There is peace, quiet, and friendliness that is simply hard to find. Everyone we met, from the property owner Glynn and his daughter Kendra as well as Bonnie and the ladies that took excellent care of us at the Manor. The tastes from the brewery and distillery were amazing. We especially loved the Fortress rum as well as the variety of brews packaged in stunning, colorful and creative cans. We look forward to being able to purchase the products in the States! Thank you Authentic Seacoast!!

Very nice visit. Amazing number of offerings, including some maple variations (rum; single, double & triple barrel whiskey. I'm more of an IPA guy and they had a couple of those, too. Beautiful building

Visited with my Son from Ontario in early October. It was our first trip to the east coast and we had an amazing stay! We stayed in Distillery House which was perfect. The property is amazing even in Fall with so much to see. We cycled, hiked and kayaked all around Guysborough. John took care of our morning coffee and our sample flights of craft beer and helped us plan our day trip to Cape Breton, he is a wealth of information. Pio set us up with all the equipment for our activities and shared helpful info on the area. We had an amazing dinner at Desbarre Manor, Bonnie and Anne were very welcoming! Thank you all! We will absolutely return someday! Highly recommend a visit or a stay!

Stayed in the dog friendly yurts number 3 and 9 with our friends. Had a really great time there. The hottub and sauna still weren't running yet but there were lots of other things to do on the property and surrounding areas but if you were visiting in winter hopefully this will be ready by then. The yurts themselves were very spacious and clean. The property was meticulously maintained. I definitely plan to return this winter. My only criticism was they are a coffee roaster yet didn't have a barista to serve espresso based drinks or even a proper espresso machine. Seemed a little odd where they are in the business of roasting beans.
