A Cream Ale is related to American Lagers. Ours is brewed to be light and refreshing with a straw to pale golden color. Using top-fermenting yeast, our Cream Ale had had an extended period of conditioning to reduce fruity esters and gives the beer a cleaner flavour.

Our version of the most popular beer style in the world! This German-style pilsner uses lightly kilned malted barley, and spicy noble Saaz hops that define the aroma and flavour of this style. The head is white and dense and the body is straw colored. The aroma contains hops with a hint of graininess. The flavour is simple with light grain and hops bittering. The finish is clean and refreshing.

If you want a pub vibe this is your spot. The beer is traditional (think malt forward, sweeter and no hop bombs, not my vibe but if you like that style you'll love it). Fish and chips was good, not amazing but satisfying none the less. Our server was great and fast. Not my style but if you align with the style you'll love it. But my wife said it was too dark.

Visited on July 20, 2023, in the evening. Located in Uptown St. John, on a uphill street, the exit door can be use for people with mobility issues. It has a semi dive like decor, the brewpub is divided in two section, the entrance leads to the bar/brewery section and there is a passage way to the dining room/bathroom area (and exit only door). Small tap list and even smaller cans to go selection, although there are growlers. I had an English Strong ale that was nice and i try their NEIPA that wasn't super hazy and very good. I had the fish and chips, but there was no one piece option, so I hardly ate the fries. Not bad, but there would be better in the Uptown!

Visited Big Tide Brewing for lunch today. This place was great! The fish and chips were delicious, the spicy fries were filling, and the dill pickle soup was intriguing. I also liked my beer (Wild Weed Summer Ale). Our server was super nice as well.

Saint John's first proper craft brew pub. I've been coming here as a go-to for 6 years and I will never stop. Amazing beer, tremendous servers, and fantastic food. A Saint John treasure.

Found this place on google maps and trusted the reviews. Hopefully you will trust mine. This was a great stop for lunch and the beers were incredible. We had poutine and pirogies.
