This week’s small batch is a delightful little Saison. Aroma is fresh with bright citrus and pineapple, some farinaceous notes, complimented by potent saison yeast funk. Mouthfeel is deceptively smooth, thirst quenching and velvety. Flavour is mild yet miles away from boring. Slightly sweet to start with a refreshingly bitter and aromatic finish from late addition Haullertau and Strisselspalt hops. Brewed with pilsner, munich, vienna and wheat.

A very relaxed and welcoming environment with ample patio space as well as different indoor seating and a small gaming section including a N64. The beer was excellent I had the Lumberjack IPA and it's been my favorite beer in MB so far. This will be a must stop in Winnipeg. Also the bathroom was stocked with feminine products for those who need them which I thought was very thoughtful.

I have been a patron of Barn Hammer since July 16, 2016. It has become one of my favourite places in the city. Every single staff member to ever work here has got to know me by name, and I ALWAYS look forward to the conversations we have at the bar into the closing hours of the night. I brought my brother here for his bachelor party, I've ran into and reconnected with old friends, I take my kids here on dates (they have sodas, board games, and a Nintendo!), and it's the best spot for an after work pint. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, with multiple seating choices to balance between quiet and secluded, and open and conversational. And in the summer the patio has both sunny and covered sections. Small brewers and businesses always need our support, and visiting places like these only helps build a bigger and more vibrant community. Thank you BH Love, Jordan

It was quiet when I came in after 12:00 PM. I received very good service and the bartender was knowledgeable about their products. Very light and flavourful Saison, their current Nitro tap is well suited to the style and the Coffee Black is always a winner for me. If you haven't been to Barnhammer yet, do you even drink beer?

I really enjoyed the wide variety of beers to try! For every one I wasn't a fan of there were three that I loved! Great relaxing atmosphere, perfect for grabbing a quick pint after work or to meet friends for an evening out.
