After unexpectedly getting snowed in, in Squamish. My best-friend, dogs and I really enjoyed our last minute, reasonably priced stay at Howe Sound Inn. Both morning and evening staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed dinner and drinks by the fire at the brew pub in the evening, breakfast items right outside our door in the morning. We needed to kill time waiting for our afternoon appointment, but we didn't want to wait outside in the cold.. the Inn extended our stay for an hour for free which was a huge help. We enjoyed being able to step outside and be right by the walking trails and so close to other amenities in town. If we ever find ourselves needing to stay in Squamish again we will absolutely stay here again.

Spent one night at the Howe Sound Inn, and the location is excellent. The rooms are nice but somewhat dated. The staff at the main reception were a bit distant and not very welcoming. The breakfast offerings were limited to small items like danishes, oatmeal, granola bars, fruit cups, and small cereals. It would be nice to see more substantial options, such as bagels or muffins. Additionally, serving breakfast in the hallway felt intrusive to the other guests; the restaurant or conference room setting would be better. We dined at the restaurant for dinner, where our server was excellent, but the food itself was unremarkable and lacked flavor. Overall, our stay was decent, but I'm uncertain if I would choose this location again in the future.

Stayed here recently. Would not ever go back. Old ugly 1980's decor, still use keys on doors, no hot water in the evening, room was cold even though heat was blasting. Heater was also very loud while trying to sleep. Only parking was on the street. Staff unfriendly at check out. Never asked how my stay was. Very disappointed. Stay away.

Howe sound brewing is our standard post hike pit stop that I've been going to for years. Food is good service has been good until yesterday. A waiter yelled at the ladies next to us because they politely asked for water. I have never seen such uncalled behavior and will not let my children see that behavior normalized.

I've stayed at the hotel multiple times as well as gone to the Brewery/Restaurant as well several times (both as while a guest at the hotel as well as when I was a guest elsewhere and wanted to land at a place I knew had good food). So the hotel, I would give a 4 to 4.5 stars. It's on the smaller side and the rooms are a little dated. Clean, front desk staff has always been nice and courteous. Great location, although the parking situation in Squamish can be odd at times (there are some areas you can't park your car overnight so you have to find parking in places that does allow it). As far as the Brewery, they have a great selection of beers on tap, options to buy beer to take with you as well as great food. They have a pretty good happy hour as well (both early and late). Daily specials as well if I remember right. Also a number of TV's if you want to watch the sports ball (Yay Team!).
