How can an East Vancouver raised son not rave about East Van Brewing. Delicious craft brew beer, ciders, wine and non alcoholic beverages available. Two floors and spacious seating. Food options are pretty good too. Offers games, trivia and watching sports nights. A great outside seating area to enjoy. Close to free street parking.

Showed up on a Sunday when they opened as I was able to easily get a seat. There is a lot of indoor seating and outside seating in front of the brewery as well.
There was a good selection of beer with all types for all tastes. I went with a flight and thought the Jive House Hazy and Wheelbite IPA were the best of what I tried.
This seems like a great place to meet for drinks. The brewery looks to host events during the week and has sports on too, so it would also be a good place to watch a game.
Our server was friendly and checked in on us regularly.
There are food options, but at the time of visiting, I was just there for beer.
I would visit again.

Popped in on a Monday night and it was pretty empty. Beer options are decent, the stout and sour were tasty. They have a few drink night specials (I think $6.75 pints on Wednesdays), lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Funky vibe with photos on the walls and a pinball machine. Free wifi.

Cozy atmosphere, good variety of beers and absolutely fantastic sandwiches - we chose the muffalata sando and it was indeed massive and super filled. Only downside was the service. We waited some 30-40 minutes for the sandwiches, which is okay, but no waiter could remove the dirty dishes in the 2+ hours after we finished. They changed shifts while we were there (the early afternoon staff was much better) and we were only asked once if we wanted more beers. We left feeling like the tip we gave wasn't really deserved.

My partner and I decided to pop in for a quick pint here on Tuesday after having a meal at another establishment nearby. We were celebrating my birthday and wanted a quick pint here before moving on.
It was 6:30pm when we walked in and were greeted by a server. Asked us if we were here for trivia, we weren't. She then told us in a somewhat monotone voice, "We are all booked up for trivia, unfortunately." Which I completely understand if it wasn't for the fact that there were maybe 2-3 tables seated when we arrived. There were even patio tables that had a group seated, which she failed to even mention. Unless trivia was also being held for patrons on the patio, we would have gladly sat out there. She just didn't seem keen to offer a solution or anything.
We don't make our way into Vancouver often, but when we have, we usually stop here to have a pint or two. Other times, service has been fine, so when we were faced with this interaction, it was very off-putting.
