Fun brewery near Burnaby mountain with a large tasting room and covered patio. Lots of beers on tap and some food options available (like snacks and buns). Worth a visit if you're in the area, their beers are fairly widely distributed, available at BC Liquor stores.

Burnaby's own Dageraad Brewery. I have been a customer for years enjoying the award winning craft beer. Close to Production way SkyTrain station and has free parking in area as well as a parking lot. Today I found the new patio seating area. Spacious seating inside as well.

A marvelous brewery. The location is surprising at first, but despite that, it gets popular here. This place really made me appreciate Belgian style beers. I want to try more. Looking forward to stopping by here again!

  • Amber

    Style: Pale Ale - Belgian

    ABV: 6    IBU: 0

Invented for the Liége exposition of 1905 to compete with British imports, the Spéciale Belge or Belgian pale ale style marries the complexity of Belgium’s beers to the drinkability of Britain’s pale ales. Dageraad Amber’s light malty sweetness and rich bouquet of malt and stone fruit are balanced by a hoppy aroma and a crisp finish. This beer was inspired by the experience of enjoying a fresh bolleke - Antwerp locals’ affectionate nickname for a glass of De Koninck - in the Dageraadplatz, just a stone’s throw from the De Koninck Brewery.

  • De Witte

    Style: Wheat Beer - Fruited

    ABV: 5.2    IBU: 0

This is our legendary sour witbier made with passionfruit and dry-hopped with American Citra hops. We’ve taken a smorgasbord of different brewing traditions and violently smashed them together to make this harmonious synthesis. Administer orally. De Witte is fermented with Belgian yeast and bottle conditioned for natural carbonation, and an extra layer of complexity.

  • The Bright Side

    Style: Farmhouse Ale - Saison

    ABV: 4.2    IBU: 0

Life gave us lemons, and we looked on The Bright Side and made lemon beer. The Bright Side is lightly tart, gently hopped with Citra and Styrian Celeia hops and finished with fresh lemon zest and lemon juice to give it a zing and make it the perfect Summer beer.

  • Antwerpen

    Style: Belgian Tripel

    ABV: 8.5    IBU: 0

With an aroma of noble hops and floral alcohol, Antwerpen is a celebration of the city from which Dageraad draws its inspiration. Antwerp is a progressive European city, a gritty port town, a haven of art and architecture, and above all, an excellent place to have a beer.

  • Jumo

    Style: Farmhouse Ale - Saison

    ABV: 4.8    IBU: 0

Jumo is fermented with Voss kveik, a strain of yeast isolated from the fermentation culture of a Norwegian farmhouse brewery. To add to Voss kveik’s distinctively orangey ester, we hopped Jumo with Mandarina Bavaria, and lightly augmented with some spices. And to add the acidity appropriate to citrus fruit, we lightly kettle soured the beer. The result is a tart, dry beer that is startlingly reminiscent of a mimosa.

  • 10°

    Style: Belgian Quadrupel

    ABV: 10    IBU: 35

Dageraad 10° is our secular homage to the strong, dark ales brewed by Trappist monks in Belgium. The strength of the wort and the addition of exotic, unrefined sugars has tormented the yeast into producing magnificently complex fruit and spice notes to complement the beer’s malty profundity. Its flavour will develop for up to three years in the bottle if properly stored.

  • Lekkers

    Style: Dark Ale

    ABV: 5.6    IBU: 0

Brewed with chocolate malt, caramelized sugar and orange peel, Lekkers smells and tastes like dessert, but it finishes dryer than you'd expect. The slight sweetness is just enough to lure you back for another sip of this deliciously more-ish beer.

  • Ko Lanta

    Style: Belgian Blonde

    ABV: 6.4    IBU: 28

Ko Lanta brings the bright, citrusy flavours of a Thai yellow curry to the fruity crispness of a Belgian blonde ale. This beer was originally brewed for our third anniversary, and we crowd-sourced recipe ideas from our entire staff. The resulting beer has citrusy and spicy notes that layer over the yeast esters and blend with subtly herbal hops for a compelling and refreshing drink.

  • Daybreak IPA

Style: IPA - New England / Hazy

    ABV: 6    IBU: 0

Fruit-forward yet balanced, juicy but with a clean finish, we took everything we learned with the New Slang series and crafted an IPA in true Dageraad fashion - refined, balanced and a little nerdy. Daybreak is brewed with thiolized yeast, turning out exciting new aromatics and flavours from the Nelson, Sauvin, Sultana, Galaxy and Citra hops.
