This place is probably the most underrated place for brunch in Vancouver. Maybe because of where it's located, it's less busy than it ought to be. Came here on a Sunday at 10:45am and was shocked to find lots of open tables for brunch. The food was spectacular - good portions, very tasty, and both the pace and service were excellent. I loved that the quality of the food was on par with high end restaurants but the vibe of the place was casual and unpretentious. I think it took us a while to try this restaurant because of the location - we like to transit and walk typically but we were driving some friends over to Gastown for the morning and so we stopped by for our first time. All to say - I would definitely drive again to dine at Belgard Kitchen again soon. It's hard to be surprised by good food when Vancouver is so full of good eats, and I was happy to be pleasantly surprised.

My friend and I live in Gastown. I have never been to Belgard until today. I have to say that it was the best dining experience yet. The food is phenomenal, the service was great, and the place is beautiful. Our server, Catherine was very kind, knowledgeable, and very efficient. Will definitely be back and will recommend this place to my family, friends and tourists when they ask for recommendations.

Our first time visiting Belgard for brunch. The atmosphere and service was great. We sat at the bar and were able to chat with the bartender. I really enjoyed the mimosa flight!

Had brunch here yesterday, and everything was perfect! We parked right in front of the restaurant for free, the ambiance was cozy yet lively, and the food was absolutely divine. We really didn't want to wait out in line for Brunch on a Saturday in Vancouver out in the pouring rain, so I really appreciated that they had a Brunch reservation system. Can't wait to come back!

The ambiance at this restaurant is stunning, with a beautiful aesthetic and a great vibe. Unfortunately, the service fell short. We found ourselves waiting for a long time, and the service was incredibly slow. The staff did not refill our water, and they didn't check in unless we prompted them. The food was excellent, however, and was definitely the highlight of our brunch experience. A big disappointment was the sangria flight. It was lacking, with very little prosecco compared to the juice. We were also served lychee instead of the pomegranate listed on the menu. While we're glad we visited, we are uncertain if we would return.
