Brand new brewing house that could belong in a big city, but found in cute little Kaslo! No table service in off peak season - order what you want at the counter. Huge patio for summer time, and many unique beers on offer. All Angry Hen brews! A first for me: a flight of non alcoholic options! I was able to try all three and doubled up on the gingerale. Truly, strong, real ginger flavour. The lemonade I should have stirred better because had a shot of strong sweet, then strong lemon for the rest. My favourite was the cherry pomegranate scrub (flavoured vinegar with carbonation). It was such a good, sweet, strong juice flavour and mild vinegar. Menu changes frequently, and not always reflected online as I discovered the burger option on offer. It had a ton of bacon and cheese, really juicy patty, and artisan greens. My partner enjoyed the lighter falafel taco and side salad. His favourite was the pickled beets, I liked the pumpkin in the salad and mild goat cheese on the taco. Highly recommend!

Angry Hen has great beer and snacks. We tried a sampler of lighter beers, which our server/expert selected for us. Had a Jamaican patty with olives on the side. Delicious! Check out the tap pulls on the wall. They are cleavers! They're not kidding about the angry hena must stop when you're in Kaslo.

The Angry Hen Brewing Company Restaurant features local ingredients whoever possible..the craft brewery stout was very good and my wife appreciated the ale she ordered..we chose to sit on the patio with the very magical view of Kootenay Lake and the local mountainsone interesting feature is the Angry Hen is owned by women and mostly women are working there..this is a Kaslo handcrafted beer that is the home of the Angry Hen brewery..our dinner tonight was very tasty and fit so well with the beer we chosethe staff were very welcoming from our entry to the restaurant to the point where we exiteda special experience..of note was our participation at the Nelson Kootenay Beer Festival on September 16, 2023 and the quality information that we received at the Angry Hen tasting location

Great spot for lunch, dinner or just for drinks! Fries are amazing along with the rest of the food here. The atmosphere is great. Also a bonus that they're LGBTQ+ friendly and they have vegan options. I had the Healthy Smash, was surprised by how thin the patty was, but it was actually perfect. Partner had Veggie which was quite tasty. Only downside was the wasps out on the patio, but that's an issue pretty much everywhere. Wish the menu was slightly bigger, kike had tacos or even pizza, but me and my partner were impressed! Definitely going back!

Great food! Fun atmosphere. Service is more casual, you order at the bar. Loved that they had vegan options, and the jackfruit Banh Mi was delicious.
