Citra and Galaxy are paired with a super fruity yeast strain to make a New England IPA. Slight bitterness and sharper citrus fruits are balanced to stop the tropical aroma from seeming too sweet

A refreshing take on smooth and creamy. A blend of roast chocolate notes and an unexpectedly refreshing finish with a low ABV. Unmistakably a stout brewed with traditional Irish ingredients and served on Nitro.

Great experience eating here, and phenomenal craft beer. Best beer we've had on the island! Maybe even ever. We ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and fries and taco salad with Mexican style lager and Alberni hazy IPA. So good!

Had a great time here celebrating my cousin's birthday. The food was fantastic, great variety of drinks, and the service was outstanding and attentive (shout out to our server Morgan!). Would definitely visit again when in Port Alberni next time!

Alberni brewing I would put as a must visit area! The atmosphere is good, family friendly, wheelchair accessibility and street parking that's free! Food was delightful, they did cater to our dietary restrictions and it was mostly perfect! I'd be very happy to go again and again with friends and family. Staff were lovely and it seemed to be a fairly clean environment which is a big plus for when you eat out!

Enjoyed a solid west coast IPA with a nice taco bowl salad. The taco bowl was a large light and crispy fried shell and the ingredients were fresh. We also had the Green Thai Curry bowl with chicken and really loved the sauce.

We stopped at Alberni Brewing Company for a quick drink and some lunch while hiking in the area. The atmosphere was great. They had outdoor seating and inside was clean with a modern rustic decor. During lunch the food, drinks, and service were good. So after hiking more, we thought we'd go for dinner. Dinner was a completely different experience. You can tell this place is geared towards the locals and not for tourists. When we got there, it was almost full, but there were a few tables open. We were told they could sit us but that the kitchen was backed up. We said that is fine and the hostess left us at the front to talk to the bar tender. Then , she comes back, seats the couple who came in behind us and tells us that the store is no longer taking customers! What? Then we see the couple talking with the bar tender and there were still 2 open tables in which we could have been sat. There was no reason we should have been denied service. We were dressed appropriately and were polite. It appeared that the place was mismanaged and not well staffed. I would not recommend eating dinner here. There are several other restaurants with amazing food and great service in the area.
