Fermented raw this ale strikes a unique balance between complexity and a approachability. Sahti is an ancient farmhouse beer style from Finland, and shares some similarities with the traditional beers of Norway, and other Scandinavian countries. The oldest physical recipe is dated to the medieval era, but there are mentions of the beer in oral tradition that would go back much further.
