Our Bolshevik Bastard kicked up a notch. We age Bolshevik in Kentucky bourbon barrels for over a year. The rich chocolate, coffee and dark fruit flavours from our imperial stout are married together with the vanilla, oak and warming alcohol from bourbon barrels. Together as one, the result is an incredible blend of aroma and taste. Drink today, or cellar for years as it matures.

Style: Porter - American
ABV: 6 IBU: 27
Brewed to be first and foremost, a robust and full bodied porter, using premium roasted and pale malts. We then infuse pure, dark Canadian maple syrup into the brewing process, so the maple essence becomes integrated during fermentation. The result is a truly wonderful and complex mixture of roast you desire in a robust porter, with background hints of maple flavour and aroma.

Duplicitous is quick to deceive your senses as it bursts with a bright aroma of citrus and tropical fruit from Citra hops, yet has no bitterness whatsoever. This generously dry-hopped Gose pours bright yellow with a light body, and fluffy head. Its inviting citrus aroma leads to a pleasantly tart lactic tang, and refreshing finish. Brewed with Coriander and Himalayan sea salt, Duplicitous is a complex beer that remains sessionable and promises to please. This beer is the culmination of our love of hops, lactic sourness and a little bit of trickery. Deceitfully delicious!

We fermented our Saison warm which gives rise to many distinct fruity aromas. The initial malt flavour gives way to a crisp, fry finish with a lingering spiciness. The result is a remarkably smooth, refreshing beer that anyone can enjoy in the hot summer months!

It often takes a truly amazing event to create something new. In science, for example, it takes a Supernova to create the heavier chemical elements. In the Funk Lab, our team of brewers decided to use Brettanomyces yeast as a catalyst for creating our "Uncommon Element Brett Pale Ale". A light malt base and the abundance of Hallartau Blanc and Mosaic hops, combined with the Brett Drie, give this beer a beautiful flavour and aroma of tropical and stone fruits, with a funk backbone. This beer may be uncommon, but we hope not for long!

Nickel Brook took some of the best Pinot Noir barrels from the Niagara wine region and tossed their Bolshevik Bastard Imperial Stout in it? I mean, what have they done to the soft oak and subtle, earthy fruit notes from the barrel? Their Imperial Stout has WAY too much chocolate, coffee and dark fruit flavours for the delicate notes imparted by the barrel-aging process. I don't know what they think they're doing. So what if it's delicious? Drink it today, or cellar it to enjoy later as it matures. A votre santé!

The beers are good! Every beer tastes true to their style. The bartenders were friendly and explained about the beers, and shared their favorites. They were really good that I've picked up other cans (not on tap) to have at home! The revolver pizza is average with a lot of burnt ends and barely there meat on a meat pizza

As a vendor at the Local MRKT Holiday Night Market this past Saturday November 25th. We found Nickel Brook Brewery to be a great place. Our space was roomy and we loved that all the shoppers were able to view out table since we were at the very back of the brewery. Although we did not consume any beer we did have their food. Their pull pork sliders were yummy and their pull pork nachos were a hit. We definitely enjoyed our time at Nickel Brook Brewery. It is a definite place to go. For some great food and I heard their beer is great too.

Nickel Brook Etobicoke is the perfect place to host your party. I have attached the pictures from my birthday in July/2023 and a recent Halloween party at the same location. First of all, Austin and Meghan are amazing. They have outstanding customer service and represent well Nickel Brook values in front of the customers. Austin is very attentive to details, very good with people and made everyone feel so welcomed in my birthday party - everyone left the party complementing him for his great management and hosting skills. At the Halloween party, Meghan was very responsive and made sure everyone were taken care of. Thank you very much Meghan! Can't forget about Jamie, he did a great job too. He is fun and joined us in the karaoke at the end of the night! Secondly, the brewery is very flexible and also pet friendly, all my friends dogs could join us on the Halloween party! Thank you Nickel Brook! Last but not least, all the beers are amazing- Jam Stand and Paloma are my favorite!

It's well hidden, but worth looking for. Nestled behind an industrial complex, you'll find the brewery off The Queensway in a strip around the back. There are plenty of craft beers to choose from, but don't take my word for it, go see for yourself. After all, I'm not a beer drinker. I went for the trivia night, which was lots of fun and well run by the host, Simon. That said, I had my first beer, from start to finish. A super enjoyable and fruity one -Jam Stand- and the fist one I've ever finished. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Nice and quite of a Sunday when we visited recently. The patio is great to sit out at in spring and summer. Good selection of beers to try and a well stocked bottle shop. Picked up a few big stouts to drink later. The young lassie who served us was polite and nice
