What a fantastic place to relax and have multiple great beers! Came all the way from Alabama, USA and this place was totally worth the trip. Mike was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The beer was fantastic, especially the Tropical Situation and the Black Lager; honestly, each of them were delicious (I'm looking at you Helles!). I cant wait to come back to Toronto, in the future, to see what else they have to offer.

My wife arranged a brewery tour here along with some of my friends in April. It was such a great experience knowing the in and outs of the beer brewing world. Beers were so fresh and chilled. The vibe was also quite good, it's only about time this place gets more popular :)

Owner Ken does a great job with the tour! Our sampling of beers was wonderful, some very unique and tasty new style brews! Old school pinball was fun while we waited, will be back for sure.

Black Oak is unlike GLB and Big Rock nearby. It has its own chill throwback vibe - Sorta like a basement with a tonne of natural light. I could sit and drink beer on their couches all day. They have 5 beers on tap to try. Their NOX Smoked Oatmeal Stout is my favourite but none of the beers will disappoint. The brewmaster is entertaining and hilarious. Go early on a Saturday to avoid the Groupon peeps. $5 for a pint and $8 for a flight!

Took my husband here for a surprise date. We both enjoyed the tour and the beers are super yummy! Needless to say we've added another craft beer to our list weekend drinks.
