Medium body, reddish-copper in colour and a subtle aroma of dark cherry, this pale ale is unique and satisfying. The touch of dark organic cherries in the fermenter give this brew a one of a kind colour, aroma and a hint of cherry flavour that lingers on your palate. This isn't a very big brewery so if you plan on sitting and drinking you may want to get there early. Don't say I didn't warn you. There's also not a ton of patio space outside either, just two picnic tables. Even though there isn't much space, the beer there is great. I went with the standard flight and would recommend Frequency which is a hazy pale ale, it's quite delicious. They do have a style for all tastes. No kitchen on offer, just snacks. It's in a strip mall in an industrial area so it could be easy to miss from the road, but there is plenty of free parking. Or as the name states, you could bike there.

The best under-the-radar brewery in Ottawa. We came here on a Tuesday afternoon for a shopping pit-stop, and we were not disappointed. We were the only people there. The woman working there was very helpful, cheerful, and smiley. She made us feel very welcome. The two IPAs we had were crisp, and the soft pretzel was a nice snack.

Visited on February 28, 2024, in early afternoon. Located in Riverview's industrial park, south west of downtown Ottawa, just a short distance west of St. Laurent BLVD. Nice beer list, all are available to go and about half are on tap and what I had (4 tasters) was nice. The only food available are chips. The only person working in the tap room was very nice, gave me water without asking (especially with tasters), was very informative. I was there on a weekday just past 1 (opening hour), so it was quiet with a few for buy to go. There is a mobility ramp for wheelchair/walker users. Very decent, I would go back!

Bicycle Craft Brewery has long been one of my favorite breweries. The staff here are extremely helpful and attentive. Eager to share their knowledge and experience, the passionate staff play a significant role in representing the core of what makes Bicycle Craft Brewery special. If you like a robust IPA, then you will not be disappointed by Bicycle Craft Brewery's selection of regular and small batch beers. With other offerings such as stouts available, you are sure to find a beer that you enjoy.
