When I heard there was a small brew pub named after one of my favorite Terry Pratchett novels on Vancouver Island near where I was staying I had to go see for myself. I was not disappointed. The super friendly staff (Anna & Kelli) were happy to answer all my excited questions. I had a lot of questions. The Turkey Sandwich was perfect and all the dark beers I sampled were very tasty. I especially liked Wake the Bones, a Chocolate Bourbon Nitro brew. This place was the perfect lunch before catching the ferry back to Vancouver. I'll be coming back the next time I am fortunate enough to visit Vancouver Island. Date of visit: October 6, 2024.

Enjoyed our visit to Small Gods! The beer is excellent and the food is good. Pros: fast counter ordering, lots of space / seats, excellent patio. Really excellent tasty high quality beer, great food options. Cons: counter service means you have to go back to the counter every time you want to order anything.

Went there hungry, ate, and left hungry. Food portions were small, to small in fact. The sandwitches sound great, but the taste came up flat. Ok, I said I'll try a beer. I know what I like (IPA's) they had one on the board, with few other appealing options I'll try it. Think of mixing beer with bubble gum. A disgusting taste was left in my mouth. Am I going to go back no.

This place is awesome, with a super cool interior that gives off a cozy vibe. The staff there are so friendly and helpful, making you feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the food. I had The Philippe and The Nonna sandwiches, and they were out of this world! The Grass-fed beef with slivered onion, garlic butter & horseradish aioli on a house-baked bun was a flavor explosion. And don't even get me started on The Nonna with house-made meatballs, marinara sauce, provolone, arugula, oregano & chili. It was a taste sensation! Oh, and let's not forget the beers. Each one I tried was absolutely fantastic. Small Gods brewery is definitely a must-visit spot for great food and brews. Cheers!"

Came in from Sooke to check this place out and was not disappointed! Delicious food and the beer was amazing. I also love that there were gender neutral bathrooms with feminine hygiene products provided. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!
