We didn-t actually eat here, but was told by our waitress at Winstons upstairs to take a look. All I can say is, people of Saskatoon planning a party or holiday event, this is the perfect place for you. It has amazing decor and the ambience is stellar. Plus a great menu and more beer on tap.

While staying at the Senator our host suggested checking out the bar in the basement and we were not disappointed. Awesome venue with lots of charm and space. Great selection of on tap and the peek into the brewery is both interesting and educational! The bartender Eli was helpful, funny and quick with a drink. Definitely check out their Korean corn dogs, we took 6 orders to go and had no regrets ??. Lovely evening and can't wait to go again!

I had half an hour before an appointment and thanks to the waitress and the chefs, managed to eat an awesome artisan burger and fries within 17 minutes!! Great food, friendly staff! I will definitely be back for lunch!!

Very impressed with my experience there. More than just a supplier for the pub upstairs, great variety and each of the beers I sampled I enjoyed.

Great service and beers (also a very good mead!) Hardly recommend the imperial stout! Super cool atmosphere and a good food menu as well!

Beer List for 21st Street Brewery Provided by Untappd!
  • Sunny Day IPA

    Style: IPA - American

    ABV: 6.5    IBU: 60

No matter the weather outside, it's always a Sunny Day at 21st Street Brewery. Our new IPA might just be our best yet. Seriously. Casey has blended elements of his Cloud 9 experiments with more traditional west coast IPA characteristics to produce a staggeringly drinkable IPA that is bursting with flavour. As the sun's rays in spring time energize you and make you happy, so too will our Sunny Day IPA! At 21st Street we love hops!! And all the different personality they can bring to a beer. With our Cloud 9 IPA we try to show what a single hop variety can bring to the table. And now we're taking three varieties we've already featured and blending them into something we like to think is even bigger and bolder!

  • Hopsicle

    Style: IPA - American

    ABV: 6.4    IBU: 70

For this mad batch we started with our Sunny Day recipe, a whole bunch of fruit and a wicked grin! We tweaked a few details, hand processed the fruit, tossed in a little lactose, and added solid hit of Mexican vanilla. The result is a little bit of magic in your glass! The first taste takes you back to that sunshine on a stick; the creamsicle. Rich, creamy, fruity goodness. As you sip, the real fruit and hops start to tickle your IPA bone, more and more. Put that pint down. I dare ya!

  • Sweet Lea

    Style: Blonde Ale

    ABV: 4.6    IBU: 0

Every artist needs a muse, to inspire and incite them. The muse comes in many different forms but is often a person who holds a special place in the artist's heart. Sweet Lea is a 4.8% ABV dry-hopped blonde ale with ripe mango, orange zest and lemon aromas, a lighty bready malt and more fruits in the body, and a hint of hoppy resin and a smooth clean bitterness in the finish. From love emerges love.

  • Cloud Burst

Style: IPA - New England / Hazy

    ABV: 6.8    IBU: 0

We convinced our brewers to go hop crazy and create a multi-hop version of our juicy New England IPA. This could well be our smoothest IPA and has a huge nose. Look for orange, citrus, tropical notes, and a beautiful soft mouthfeel. Best enjoyed as the turtle moves.

  • A Norwegian Would

    Style: IPA - Farmhouse

    ABV: 6.5    IBU: 0

“I once had a girl,. Or should I say, she once had me.” Our latest weird and wonderful beer is made with Kveik, which is an ancient Norwegian yeast that ferments at a temperatures almost twice the normal and adds crazy tropical flavours! Throwing this into a juicy, fruity, hazy NEIPA seemed like a good idea, so we did it!

  • Uptown Brown

    Style: Brown Ale - American

Uptown Brown is a a bolder, hoppier version of our downtown brown, with a light roastiness and piney hops.

  • Cloud 9

Style: IPA - New England / Hazy

    ABV: 6.5    IBU: 66

This is our single hop IPA series, so each iteration will be different and exciting!

  • Black Market Stout

    Style: Stout - American

    ABV: 7    IBU: 0

One of the very first recipes we brewed at 21st Street, our Black Market has stood the test of time. This is a stout-drinker’s stout. Inky black, roasty and bitter with a breath of pine and citrus. Look for a light cookies and cream note in the nose, and a softer smoother coffee character in the flavour.

  • Deep Water

    Style: IPA - American

    ABV: 6.8    IBU: 0

Beware! In the deep there be monsters! Our West Coast IPA is not for the faint of hops. With a firm malt backbone balanced by plenty of citrus, bitter west coast finish and an exotic flair from the Southern Hemisphere’s Rakau hops. We went deep to dredge this monster to the surface. Be careful. It bites!

  • The Happy Camper

    Style: IPA - Session

    ABV: 5    IBU: 0

Happy Camper is a delicately balanced black ISA. It has a big piney hop character, with restrained bitterness and an all day kinda 5.0% ABV.

  • Sláinte

    Style: Stout - Irish Dry

    ABV: 4.7    IBU: 0

It’s pronounced “Slan-Je” This traditional Irish Gaelic greeting translates as “Health” and is a traditional salute on St. Patrick’s Day. Our Irish Stout is roasty and clean, with a nice malty backbone and a very subtle hop profile. We also added rye into the grain bill as we couldn’t resist giving this classic style a distinctly Canadian twist!

  • Everyday Stout

    Style: Stout - Oatmeal

    ABV: 6    IBU: 32

We love to push the envelope as much as you love swimming in oceans of new and exotic flavours but let's face it, sometimes we all just want a really good, uncomplicated beer. Our Everyday Stout is just such a beer. This 6% ABV oatmeal stout is deep and dark, full of robust roast barley character with a clean, balanced finish and is the perfect pint to enjoy after your day's work is done. To all the artisans out there who need a tasty, rugged pint at the end of a long day, we salute you. #notjustfornerds

  • Double Chocolate Porter

Style: Porter - Imperial / Double

    ABV: 8.2    IBU: 0

What do you get when you throw a whole load of cacao nibs into a big old porter that already has a tonne of chocolate malt in it? A double chocolate porter! This rich, dark, full-bodied ale is a sure-fire winner once the weather, and the leaves, start to turn. Just in time for the fall season, we recommend pairing it with... more chocolate!

  • Fresh

    Style: Sour - Traditional Gose

    ABV: 3.8    IBU: 13

We agonized over what to call this fresh, tasty cucumber ginger gose. It's so fresh. So we decided to call it Fresh. Have we made the point yet? We kettle-soured this one for a light tartness, steeped it with whole ginger root, and infused the whole thing with raw cucumber. We recommend trying it with a salt-rimmed glass (please ask your server). Seriously, this is tasty. And fresh!!!!!!

  • Supercell

Style: IPA - Imperial / Double Black

    ABV: 8    IBU: 68

If you liked our Black Cloud New England IPA, you're gonna love this one. We amped this one up to 8% so it has more kick. It's still the same soft, piney, fruity blend of awesome that Black Cloud is, but with more bass!

  • Fezziwig

    Style: Stout - Other

    ABV: 7    IBU: 0

Mr. Fezziwig is one of Charles Dickens' most brilliantly drawn social commentaries, created for his masterpiece; A Christmas Carol. As the world entered a period of economic instability as the industrial revolution changed the way manufacturing and commerce worked, many small businesses either went under or were consumed by larger entities that owned the machinery and factories necessary to compete. Mr. Fezziwig was Dickens' commentary on this dillema, standing in stark contrast to the cynical and unfeeling capitalism of Scrooge. Fezziwig was a jolly, community-oriented fellow, with what you could call a "full body" and a cheery disposition, who believed in small business being about more than just profits. We couldn't agree more. We've created a Belgian Plum Stout which shares many of its namesake's characteristics. At 7% ABV, this is not a huge stout, but it has enough body to carry the deeply delicious dark plum notes. Brewed with 100% real fruit and no extract. The Belgian yeast is prominent but not overpowering in the aroma and yields the flavour to the malts and fruits while adding just a little spice. There is still a nice hop presence throughout but no bitterness or sharpness, just warm, fuzzy, winter feelings. If you like Christmas flavours but don't want an aggressively spicy winter warmer, we think this will be just the beer for you!

  • Hefe Metal

    Style: Wheat Beer - Hefeweizen

    ABV: 4.6    IBU: 12

Are you ready to rock!?!?!? Our Hefe Metal Hefeweizen is a clean take on the classic German style. Soft and effervescent with a smooth banana character and just a hint of clove, this tasty little number is flavourful and refreshing.

  • Brutish IPA

    Style: IPA - American

    ABV: 7.3    IBU: 40

It's big, it's bold, it's Brutish! This is a big old juicy IPA full of pineapple and tropical fruits in the aroma. It's one of the most complex we've made too, with lots of pineapple, citrus, lemongrass and a hint of white wine (to bring it closer to a Brut IPA style) in the body. We carbed this one up to Belgian levels which gives it a nice fluffy texture and hides the deceptively high ABV. The finish is clean and dry with a tight, bitter snap! Brut IPAs are a relatively new sub-style which are fermented to a lower gravity (which makes them drier), and given a higher carbonation to make it seem a bit like champagne. This one isn't quite a full brut, but it’s definitely Brutish!

  • DANK!

    Style: IPA - American

    ABV: 6.2    IBU: 67

With the highly anticipated date of October 17th fast approaching, we decided to get in the spirit of the season and crank out the dankest of the dank IPAs. Ladies & Gentlemen, for your consideration, we present to you: DANK! This is a hazy Dank IPA, made with toasted prairie hemp seeds and a truckload of old school IPA hops . Look for big resiny grapefruit notes and a toasted pumpkin seed-like hemp note. (There is no THC in this beer)

  • Frolic

    Style: IPA - Session

    ABV: 5.2    IBU: 0

Picture it. The sun is out, you have the top down on your ‘67 Cadillac Eldorado and you’re cruising to the beach with your honey at your side. This beer is that experience in a can! Hazy, hoppy and dry, this session ale is all about the azacca hops, known for their bold citrus and tropical flavours. We swear you’re gonna love it!

  • Little Empress

    Style: Stout - Russian Imperial

    ABV: 7.5    IBU: 60

Yes you're reading that right. Session Russian Imperial Stout. OK. OK. We know it's not really a thing, but its also definitely the best way to describe this beer! Named for Russian matriarch Catherine the Great, Little Empress is jam-packed with flavour and has a big, bold body, but at a measly 7.5%, it's really, really drinkable. If you like the flavour of a big bad RIS but not the groggy feeling the next day, this is the beer for you!

  • Double Double Double Double

Style: IPA - Imperial / Double

    ABV: 8.5    IBU: 0

21st Street Brewery and Pile O' Bones Brewing Co. share so many similarities as breweries. We are both located in downtown pubs, shoe-horned into the basement and locked away from the sun, to create unique and interesting beers. For this gnarly Double IPA, we have two breweries using two hops and two different malts. As it's also a Double IPA, we figured the only thing we could call it is Double Double Double Double

  • The Great Outdoors

    Style: IPA - Session

    ABV: 4    IBU: 45

Just in time for the warmer weather to hit, we're releasing a delicious new ISA that you can take with you when you hit the parks, the prairie, or the mountains. Light enough (4%) to let you hike, fish, stargaze, or just hang out in peace, but absolutely packed with flavour, our Great Outdoors is the perfect accompaniment to spring and the impending summer.

  • Metamorophic

Style: Pale Ale - New England / Hazy

    ABV: 5.5    IBU: 0

The earth makes metamorphic rock like we make beer. It takes base ingredients: igneous and sedimentary rocks, adds time and heat, and POW! Metamorphic! We use time and heat to manipulate our hops and barley, so basically we rock... (get it?) We used our Norwegian Kveik yeast to make this beer extra metamorphic.

  • From Russia With Love

    Style: Stout - Russian Imperial

    ABV: 12    IBU: 0

The Russian Imperial Stout style dates all the way back to 17th century England where the English brewmasters were well known for their craftsmanship. So much so that other nations were beginning to demand their products abroad. While IPA was favoured by foreign nationals in India, strong stout was preferred in the frigid Baltic states. Catherine the Great particularly loved to import the stuff for her upscale parties in St Petersburg, Russia giving the biggest and baddest of stouts its name. Some say the dark strong ale appealed to the melancholy of the Russian soul. Not for the feint of heart, this is a juggernaut of a beer. The largest beer we've made to date, it weighs in at 12%. Look for a rich coffee and molasses character. To please ghost of the Russian Czar we aged this beauty in bourbon barrels for 4 months, smoothing it out and adding hints of vanilla, coconut and spice. We hope you like it as much as we do
