OK, j'me lance: DDH Nordique wheat ale.

Location is perfect for a stop off the highway during a long road trip. The check in process was smooth; however, there as a pet fee that I did not see anything about when booking my stay. I also totally understand that we are in Quebec and French is the primary language; however, in the service industry there is an expectation that someone speaks English and can answer questions. I was charged this fee and the person who helped me was not able to explain why. The room had no air conditioning and the fan was DISGUSTING. We had to disassemble it to clean it in the tub or we would just have been blowing dust at ourselves all night. There was also no TV, and while we didn't particularly need it because we have a laptop and wifi; it would have been nice to know that at the time of booking as we were excited to be able to watch some olympic coverage. Thank you for being pet friendly! It is so lovely to be able to travel with a pet and not have to worry about finding safe places to stop.

Beautiful area worth a visit; great prices; clean and comfortable. We were garden side basement and it was quiet and good. Food was nice (great roasted meat) and the microbrew beer was good. Not fancy but friendly. Ice cream (soft serve) across the street.

Quaint and unpretentious Auberge in a gorgeous area near Kamouraska. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. There was no TV but the WiFi was solid. If you can, request a room facing the field to ensure you have a better view (or else you'll be facing the street). The brewery was fairly quiet since it was a Wednesday night. We sampled 10 of the beers and my favourites were the Pays des collines (blanche multigrain), La Bazouelle (saison) and Bivouac (IPA). I did not enjoy the sumac grisette at all and found that it had a rubbing alcohol aftertaste (but it might just be me). It was a little disappointing that the bottled beers for sale were not the same as the ones they were serving, which meant I had to take a risk buying some of them. The poutine at the brewery was excellent. If you have nice weather, I highly recommend driving 5-10 mins to Rivire-Ouelle at sunset for gorgeous views of the St-Laurent and Charlevoix.

Was disappointed that Jrmie is no longer the Brew master. The beer menu suffered because of this as it was not as good as as when we were there when Jrmie was brew master. The food menu had no vegetarian option. A better selection would have been nice, with a tie in to the beer menu. Good poutine selection

Stopped off for the night on my way to NB, had a great meal and stayed the night in the lot very safe and quite. Beer was incredible and staff was very friendly.
