Just tried the Link Up from BG Brasserie Generale Urbaine @bgbrasserieurbaine, a Brewery from Quebec City and oh boy we forgot to read the full label before buying it lol, so far it's the best sour beer even if we don't really like sour beer. Co-Owner and Head Brewer Max Bergeron sat down with Tiff and Cee to crush their fire Link Up offering, a 7.7% sour ale with blackberries, blueberries, marshmallow and lactose, while they chatted about the challenges of diversity in Quebec, how they can better reach a diverse clientele and his advice to other breweries who may be considering doing Link Up. You should try it out if you are a sour beer lover, cheers!

BG is my fave brewery in Quebec City. As an anglophone, I always feel very welcome at BG, which is important to me (my French is pretty average so it helps when the staff are really kind and speak English with me). The food is A1 fire, really high quality, and much better than you'd expect at a brewery. And the beers - some of the best in the province. BG can do everything at a high tier - their crispies are fantastic, their haze is criminally underrated, and their barrel program (both stouts and sours) is impeccable. Couldn't recommend them more!

Beer was nothing special, waited for ever to be served and it was as though because i knew little french i was served last. felt very out of place and made sure to leave fast. The beer wasn't awful but i would classify it as average like a stepped up domestic lager from a big company.
