    An easy drinking American-style ale made from a blend of barley and corn. Dry hopping with Mosaic hops adds some great aroma.

    For generations, Norwegian brewers have passed down the yeast used in their farmhouse ales. The fast fermenting Årset Kviek (pronounced kwike) yeast used in our NOPA brings notes of strawberry and raspberry with little bitterness.

    This beer is a celebration of Ontario Hops, using hops from both our yard and Mackinac Hops from Valley Hops. Our brewer Mitch took the lead on the development of this beer and it placed second in the ONHops Brew off competition!

    Style: Farmhouse Ale - Saison

    Historically Saisons were refreshing summer ales made by French farmers. In the middle ages low gravity Saisons were a clean source of hydration for farm workers who consumed up to 5 litres per day. Our version is a higher gravity, dry hopped with Legacy hops creating notes of grapefruit, black currant and spicy floral characteristics.
