Style: Farmhouse Ale - Saison
ABV: 6.4 IBU: 25
Our flagship Saison, and one of our long time favourites. We've been brewing it from day one with Alsatian hops and our house Saison yeast. Clove, black pepper, and a touch of iced tea and red berry -- this is a complex yet easy drinking beer made from simple ingredients. Like everything else we make, this beer is naturally carbonated thanks to a secondary fermentation in the can, leading to a pleasantly smooth quality Not too bitter, not too sweet, it's juuuuust right.

Style: Belgian Tripel
ABV: 7.9 IBU: 20
This strong, traditional Belgian style has strong yeast-driven notes, banana and clove, with a touch of nutmeg. Staying true to its roots, this beer hides its strength very well with little or no warming. It's a classic companion for grilling and smoking. Awarded silver in the "Trappist" category at the 2019 Ontario Brewing Awards.

ABV: 5.2 IBU: 20
A hybrid of two fantastic styles, Belgian Witbier and Saison! We brew it with a big dose of bitter orange peel in the kettle, and then, instead of using coriander, we use grains of paradise and our house Saison yeast to develop our wit's spice-driven backbone. It's always been one of our best sellers in the tasting room and bottle shop! Pouring a beautiful hazy gold with pillowy foam, it tastes both familiar and fresh.

This sumptuous beauty is a hybrid of styles, a robust porter crossed with a Belgian Dubbel. Pouring a deep dark brown with beautiful tan foam, notes of dark chocolate, burnt toffee, and warming spice on the nose. This beer harmoniously combines characteristics of rich chocolate and coffee with dark fruit and a hint of Belgian spice coming from our house Abbey yeast. It is sumptuous, flavourful, and truly the best of both worlds!

Quick sour with black currant, haskap, and raspberry. Pours with a pink head and indigo body. The aroma is raspberry up front with sharp acidity. The flavour initially follows the nose, with deeper flavours from the haskap and black currant developing in the back. Sharply sour without lingering from both the lactic acid fermentation and fruit acids.

ABV: 5 IBU: 20
An easy drinking yet sophisticated amber ale, it pours a beautiful tawny brown with rocky tan foam. Made with some of the finest Belgian malts, it has notes of biscuit, caramel, and toast with a subtle hint of dried fruit. Fermented with our Belgian yeast, you will notice some light spice. This is all topped off with a crisp and slightly roasty finish with some lingering mouthwatering biscuit. Complex yet approachable, this is a beer to please all palates.

Brewed up with our neighbours Rainhard Brewing Co.. Blessed Acceleration is an Imperial -- IPA 8.4% ABV, 65 IBUs. Its appearance is hazy gold with a big, fluffy head. The aroma is huge tangerine and mango which carries through to the palate. On the sip, there’s a fleeting, bitter kick with back notes of pine and mild maltiness. An awful lot of Citra and Amarillo went into this. It's really, really good.

This light, easy drinking ale has summer written all over it! Brewed with a blend of European and American hops, it has notes of lemon, melon, and tea with a bit of an herbal backbone. We designed this beer to be the ideal refresher on a hot day, and it delivers!

Fruity, tart, and refreshing! This sour beer packs a red berry punch coming from the enormous amount of raspberry and black currant we poured into it! Naturally soured with our house Lactobacillus bacteria (the same that is used to make cheese and yogourt), it's tart but not overwhelmingly so. Effervescent and lively, this magenta beauty is like a party in your mouth!

Neat little brewery with friendly staff. Retro/Vintage vibe. No flights but tasty pints. I had the Saison Davenport and girlfriend had the Razzle Blazzle Sour. Taproom and patio both dog friendly.

Shacklands Brewing is on the cusp of possible greatness; product, brand, personality, and location. A junction within The Junction. I was hooked. Their poster for a punk rock parking lot party drew me in. The nostalgia fits every generation. Beer is on point. The face and personality behind the counter; he's one-of-a-kind. Was fortunate to meet the Robert Plant doppelg-er. Dave is the Dave you want to know. He is one cool, kind and original dude doing cool things.

Shacklands is sweet, they got a huge stage and live music and they are ready to rock! The inside is full of wicked trinkets, props and treasures. It's small and homey but they definitely got the goods. Great beer lives here, not to steal any slogans, the patio is bigger than the inside and tours can be arranged to see the brewing process. The staff is friendly and lively and it's a great addition to the secret stockyards corner! Come do some tasting and take some home!

The beer is so yummy, fresh and unique but not hard to drink. Smooth and cold. Dave is awesome and the atmosphere is like an 80's watering hole. Love it, and the food truck outside is amazing food you can bring in to consume.

Recently moved into the area and had a bit of a mini pub crawl. Thoroughly impressed with the quality of the beers. Wonderful welcome by the staff - and will be back for more. Of the three breweries in the area shacklands is joint top!!
