Style: IPA - New England / Hazy
ABV: 5.7 IBU: 33
New England IPA. Hazy, stone-fruity, citrusy goodness. The result of awesome Ontario yeast from EscarpmentLabs , killer fresh hops by HopsConnect and borderline fanatical water adjustment by the brewer.

The summer winds roll waves through the Saskatchewan gold. A thousand miles south a blood orange ponders it's fate as it ripens in sun. But seriously, our season-inappropriate one-off was such a hit we had to scale it up and brew it for you. A great beer for the craft aficionado as well as the staunch non-beer drinker.

Smooth and ruby red, this beer is packed with malt goodness yet remains imminently drinkable. Charting in at a very sessionable 4.9% and offset with just enough Kent Goldings hops to provide balance you may be able to send down a second one to check on the first. A very handsome beer with awesome table presence. Enjoy.

This beer is named after the "Quick Lunch" diner that once occupied the location of our current taproom in the 1950s. It's one of our original recipes tweaked with our White Bronco yeast to create a light, refreshing citrusy flavour that's perfect for all day/night drinking, or when you only have 15 minutes for lunch.

A classic British ale. A balance of rich flavours and drinkability, our Porter will reward you with subtle notes of coffee, chocolate and dark fruits as you navigate through your glass - the last sip just might be the best. Featuring UK pale, crystal and chocolate malts. Oh, and a light dose of flaked oats to round things out. For a real treat look for this on the nitro creamer faucet in our tasting room.

Skookum is a Chinook jargon word that has historical use in the Pacific Northwest. It has a range of meanings, some of which are strong, monstrously significant, or greatest. This beer is west coast inspired pale ale with a classic orange hue, with a touch of crystal malt and a 100% cascade hop bill.

How much flavour and aroma can you pack into a sub 4% crushable beer? We intend to find out and this is a solid start. This offering runs double-duty as an approachable introduction to hand crafted, small batch beer. A delicate mix of light coloured malts is married with a late kettle hop addition and the aroma is kicked up even further with a dry hop addition late in the fermentation. It's not a blond ale. It's hoppier. We're happier.

Imagine downing a double-shot of espresso and doing a cannon-ball into a pool of liquid chocolate. Yeah, it's kinda like that. We've blended in a heavy dose of oats and dark roast malts to create a viscous, hearty stout that would make a lovely finish (or start) to any day. The slight hop bitterness is bolstered by the bitter chocolate and coffee.

Perfect summer patio crusher, this IPA drinks like a 5.5% with richer malt and a brewing process to preserve the body. Barbe Rouge and Galaxy hops give this beauty a candy aroma with a touch of sweetness upfront and a nice lingering bitterness that keeps you going back for another sip.

Much like that uncle that shows up every third Christmas, this beer is unapologetically bold and bitter. Our nod to the great ales of the Pacific North-West, this IPA supports it's liberal hop bill with a strong Canadian malt backbone. Be sure to linger over the citrusy, piney aroma before you dive in.

A touch of rye in the grist adds a subtle spice that plays with the orange/lemon notes of the Summit hops. Tempered with a touch of Cascade provides the perfect flavour for the person who likes to imbibe like a "Glop Head".

A hazy IPA with a restrained initial bitterness. Dry hopped with Galaxy hops from Australia which play with the Vermont yeast esters to give notes of passion fruit, mango and candy on both the nose and palate. The hop/malt interaction creates an impression of sweetness which slowly relents to a pleasantly bitter finish.

Time to cross under the river and check out some Canadian breweries. #51 in the brewery tour. OMFG! This is exactly what I envision a craft brewery to be, especially in the older parts of the continent: housed in a repurposed building, lots of exposed brick, tin ceiling, reused wood, etc. This place is, in my mind, the absolute standard, the dictionary definition of what a brewery/pub should be. We walked in 2 minutes after they opened, wandered around before finding the owner, Carrie, returning with her hot soup lunch. Got our first brews then ordered lunch. I went with the Cubano sandwich and poutine, my compadre with the roast beast & fries. Poutine is amazing, if a touch salty. The Cubano was super delicious and stuffed full if a little smaller than a traditional Cuban. The roast beef was top-notch as well. The beer is very good as well. Sampled several, drank full pints of a couple, no complaints here. Carrie was delightful, gave us all sorts of information on the building & 3 year build out. Very friendly. There is also a really big beer garden out back. Can I move in? I don't take up much space.

My wife and I really enjoyed their beer. I personally recommend to try them all because you will be surprised at how good they are. The roast beef sandwich was delightful too. Finally, they truly are awesome people there. Passionate, friendly, and knowledgeable. Don't let the construction on the road deter you, pay them a visit.

What an amazing Spot. Food and their beers are truly great. I definitely added this spot to our favourite place to go. I had Grilled Choripan Sandwich with famous Robbie's chorizo sausages. This was really yummy and my spouse had Cuban Sandwich. We have tried all beers, but hands down the best one in my opinion was Ruby Sue. Customer service top notch. We stayed inside, but they also have small patio in backyard.

We stopped by on our way back to the states and were highly impressed. Great, crafted beers with a small food menu with tasty sandwiches. The staff were all nice and very attentive. The beers are all well thought out and executed. Will definitely visit again on our trips across the border.
