First of all, don't be discouraged by the location beside the QEW. It is not really noticeable. My wife and I were looking for a brewery that had a patio / place for our dog to enjoy the outdoors while we did as well. Newark did NOT disappoint across the board. John our server was awesome and has some amazing stories and knows a bazillion things about breweries and distilling. The food was AMAZING. Had the RIB TIPS which fall off the bone as an appetizer. I had the Schnitzel and my wife had the Brisket Poutine. Both were bang on and so yummy. Our beverages were great as well as I had the IPA which was t crazy hoppy. My wife had the Mango Mimosa which was clear / crisp and yummy. Thanks Newark! We will be back!

Since we are in wine country, we decided we've had enough and went to this brew company for beer and a bite. I had the burger with fries and an IPA. Hubby had the brisket burger and the stout. Both of the meals were great. The burger was perfectly cooked as requested, and the brisket was like butter with a great sauce. The IPA was super refreshing with a hint of flowers. My hubby was not crazy about the stout. He said he still prefers Guinness. The service...started good, went downhill after we received our food, but the waiter made it up to us, and it turned out great. It's a cute place. Very grunge. Because it's located in an industrial area, it was super quiet on a Saturday night. It probably gets busy weekdays at lunchtime.

I'm going to be spending a few days in Ontario and after crossing the border, Newark was my first night's stop. Yes, Newark Brewing is part of the Harvest Hosts network and so me and the Sprinter van spent the night. I arrived after the kitchen closed (which was fine - I had a burger in Rochester) but Steve was extremely hospitable and kind, giving me the lowdown and ensuring I had a comfortable stay. It was a perfect night for sitting on their patio and enjoying a beer or two while writing Yelp reviews and watching the sun set.

A great atmosphere with a cool layout. The service was top notch and so was the food. Fish tacos were tasty and well laid out on a plank board. I had a Dunkel along with some brisket nachos that were so good. Took a couple Dunkel for the road.

I had an incredible experience at Newark! The beer was nothing short of amazing. The food was top-notch as well, pairing perfectly with the drinks. I meet the owner and head brewmaster, and let me tell you, he was as friendly and welcoming as they come. It was also refreshing to learn that he's NOT a Dallas Cowboys fan! I'll definitely be back! Highly recommend!
