100% Patagonia Pilsner malt from Ontario Malting Group and 100% Heritage Hill organic 2020 Hallertau hops (yes, this is a SMASH - single malt, single hop). This is the third release in our new and ongoing “Fruition Sour Series” designed for complex, multi-staged fermentations and yielding vibrant and approachable results. This purple-pink, fruited ale is bacterially soured for 2 days in the brew kettle and subsequently boiled with extremely low doses of GoodLot organic Chinook whirlpool hops to achieve very low bitterness and a bright, refreshing sourness. Vermont Ale yeast compliments the blackberry additions during secondary stages of fermentation to create smooth and tropical juice flavours and aromas that are puckery, bright, thirst-quenching and extremely sessionable! This release is bottle-conditioned for bubbly head and carbonation.

Based on our much loved Farmstead Ale, this beer was intentionally soured. Giving it a tart flavour. Easy drinking with a dry bitter almost pithy finish. Aromas of fresh berry mellows with the tartness from the souring process. Drinks more like a raspberry radler. Quite thirst-quenching.
