Style: Historical Beer - Other

Full Beard Brewing Co’s Bearded Prospector is a delicious Cream Ale that will quench your thirst. This is a historical style ale that really came about during prohibition. Instead of using all barley, corn is added. We have made this a hybrid by using both larger and ale yeasts. These ingredients make for amazing clear, crisp dry ale. Straw in colour, with subtle aromas of malt, this beer leaves the palate with a very dry finish which will leave you with a smile from ear-to-ear.

TANK1 – TANK4 Spot the difference? Well our brewer couldn’t… Sometimes we have happy little accidents, this is one of them. We were ecstatic to get a mountain of strawberries from our good friends at Aidie Creek again this year to go in our Strawberry Sour. When it was time to add them, the brewer put them into the wrong tank, (despite it being clearly labelled and the tanks being 5 metres apart) and a new beer was born. To go with the awesome strawberries we added blueberries, raspberries and haskap berries with some lactose to make this ‘berry creamy ale’ we dubbed the Oops Berry. Its mildly fruity, smooth, clean and refreshing.

My wife and I popped into Full Beard Brewing as we were looking for a local micro-brewery to check out while in Timmins. This turned out to be a very special experience! Not only were we greeted with a wonderful assortment of beers, but we chatted with our wonderful server and then met one of the owners and heard about his desire to bring their beer to a larger portion of the population. Awesome time here, drop in when in Timmins.

Wow! Such a great local spot for the community. During my visit, what better way to be greeted by one of the owners rocking(ya you guess it) a full bread. Not much of a kitchen but they allow and encourage local eats and let you bring them in(at the time of my visit) The " New Zealand Choice Pilsner" damn good but don't let me detour you from the rest of the flight. I could only afford 7 beer from their flight at the time but all 7 were just as good, and I'm sure the rest of the flight would follow. You can tell they are passionate about what they do. Thanks again guys!

Brewery was a great place to visit. Wish the food truck was open Sundays. Beer was great and the staff were friendly. Next time we are in Timmins it will be on the stop list!

After a long drive, a cold beer is refreshing? What's better than that? How about a second? What could be better than that? How about some delicious prime rib Philly Cheesesteak Sliders, paired with a wonderfully crisp Caesar salad. The Full Beard Brewing company is a must visit if you like craft beer and good food. There's a beer for every taste. I tried and enjoyed the Bearded Prospector (cream ale) and the 705 (blonde ale). I'll be looking for those beers in the LCBO.
