March 9th , Happy Birthday! I just so happened to pass through town on this day. I didn't have the opportunity to sit for a drink but I did grab one of each canned to go. Awesome staff, beer and spot if you can find it. Hidden little gem. I finally got around to trying the flight, Damn good! If you haven't yet or get the chance to, a must. Thanks Compass Brewery for your hospitality, knowledge and 10% off for your Birthday. Cheers!

Brand new little place, though it is a little hard to see from the road, make the effort to spot it! Great beer and hospitality! If you are in Timmins, stop to try a flight and bring some home, we did!

Spent the day in Timmins and thought I'd try both Compass Brewing and Full Beard Brewing. Went to full beard first and was blown away at the subtle flavours and amazing variety. I was sadly disappointed by the flavours of the beers at Compass did not match my tastes as I thought were not very full flavoured and sadly of the five beers I tried, none of them I would buy again. I hope they improve the quality of the beers to match the hype around Timmins for this brewery. Due to an informative response by the owners I've thought about my review above and decided to add the following: This is a great local alternate to some of the more famous brews such as Sleeman or Labatt, I look forward to trying some of the brews I didn't have.

Don't let the strange location fool you! This brewery is absolutely amazing. Haven't had a single beer by them that I didn't like. I don't want to throw Full Beard under the bus but they just don't compare to Compass in terms of quality. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the tasting room is hip and cozy. Love them!

We stopped to pick up a few beers just before leaving Timmins, and we are so glad we did! We were greeted by Norm, who was a great help; he gave us samples, and told us all about each beer, including the ingredients and process. You could tell that he was passionate about what he does, and he definitely taught us a lot! I highly recommend making a stop at Compass, and tasting their fantastic, high quality beers. Cheers!
