Style: IPA - New England / Hazy
ABV: 4.5 IBU: 10
New England India Pale Ale (NEIPA) – this beer deemphasizes hop bitterness and showcases hop flavour and aromas that are reminiscent of tropical fruit juice. This “hazy” or “juicy” IPA exhibits strong notes of guava, passion fruit, and mango on the nose. As expected, there is a level of cloudiness or haze, which is typical for this style of beer. A simple grain bill in conjunction with a small amount of bitterness provides a softer mouthfeel and flavour profile.

September 22, 2024 edit: Changing my 5 star review to 4 stars. I feel like something has changed at CBC over the past few months. There seems to be a whole new crew of women working the tap room. The new crew is nowhere near as friendly and welcoming as the old crew. They almost seem inconvenienced by my presence and annoyed that they have to serve me. All the workers seem stressed out and I've witnessed spats between them. The quality of the food has gone down a bit. There used to be more beers on tap. Maybe they're just between brews idk. The vibe just doesn't feel the same anymore. The beer is still great and the brewery is beautiful. Things just feel different. Idk if I'll go as frequently as I used to. Original post May 11, 2024: Charlotteville Brewing Co. is my favourite brewery. The beer is outstanding. Holly is a talented Brewster. I have tried about 10 of their beers, and they are all delicious and unique. My favourites are the Mango Ginger Milksake IPA, Pina Colada Sour, Chocolate Milk Stout, Coffee Stout, Dark Chocolate Chili Pepper Stout, En Garde, and Wet 'n Wild. You really can't go wrong with any of their beers. The food is amazing. A lot of the food is grown on their organic farm. They pickle, ferment, smoke, bake everything themselves. The quality and quantity of food makes it reasonably priced. The staff at CBC are really what keeps me coming back. They are all so friendly and provide fantastic service. The women that run that place rock! They really make you feel welcome and always go above and beyond. The barns and property are so charming. The barns have a cozy rustic feel filled with vintage furniture and decor, which I believe is all for sale. So much thought and detail went into making CBC feel so inviting. The outdoor area is large and tucked up against a Carolinian forest. There are tables lot of places to sit and a few fire pits. The patio is dog friendly. The area is so peaceful and great for wildlife viewing with lots of birds flying about. There is a native plant garden and bee hives on the property. CBC seems like a great company, and I resoate with their values. I am excited to keep coming back. I recommend CBC to everyone. If I could rate this place 6 stars I would.

Such a unique space. There's a great little craft brewery in Kelowna called Barn Owl Brewing that's in a century-old barn, and this one is right up there with that one in terms of charm, service and beer selection. The grounds are super interesting... It is in the middle of nowhere ( for us city folk) but is well worth the drive.

Happened across this place on our way home and decided to pop in for a beer. We each had a flight of 4 and all of the beers were great, I especially liked the Nitro infused beers, very unique. We had a snack and bought some travellers on the way out. This place is truly a cool spot, we only live 40 mins away and had no idea it was here, can't wait to visit in the summer when the pizza oven is fired up! The staff was also exceptionally pleasant!
