A cross between a Scotch Ale, an India Pale Ale and an American Brown, Tail Feather is well-hopped for a bitter back bone and has a rice maltyness at the same time. The beer has characteristics of each style that inspired it: the colour of an American Brown, the caramel notes of a Scotch Ale, and the hopping regimen of an India Pale Ale. Brewed with Aromatic barley, brown sugar and warrior hops giving this beer it’s distinct bitter profile and caramel/roasted malt character.

Holy Mole (they rhyme!) pours a deep black-brown with a tan foam. Lots of chocolate and a hint of chili heat on the nose. This full-bodied ale is a blessed combination of chocolate and earthiness from the chili peppers. Heat builds gradually and could be highlighted with complimenting or contrasting foods!

One of the best breweries in Stratford! Great ambience, good selection of beers, a bit small, but an amazing service! It's a must visit place if your coming to Stratford!

The drinks were pleasant, but there were only two tables occupied. Perhaps my choice was misguided. Locals seem to enjoy this place, yet with merely two tables and at 7:38 PM, the patrons were enthusiastically sharing jokes and colorful language. It was quite off-putting. As a visitor, I wished not to understand English, but their loud conversations about dates, families, and marriages gave me a headache. It was a rather distressing drinking experience. Next time, I'll prefer the quieter ambiance of a tourist bar. I always thought only ill-mannered, uneducated people would be full of profanity and criticize tourists, especially since I am Asian. The problem is, I understood everything they said. The two local women at this place were truly the infamous "Heren." I actually encountered them. It was terrifyingwhoever moves here would be laughed at relentlessly. It seems judgmental people exist everywhere in the world. These two white women had the same spiteful demeanor as gossipy women in a poor village. Living in Toronto is safer; no one has time to judge others because there are too many people, and everyone is too busy to comment on others. The server was in a difficult position. She knew the local patrons, so she couldn't join their critique of other guests, nor could she sternly stop the two drunken, foul-mouthed women.

The service was really good. Once I knew we had to go inside to order drinks for the patio, it was great. The bartender had great recommendations for a flight of tasters and tell us a little bit about the history of the brewery. The atmosphere was nice and he came to check up on us a couple of times. I would definitely recommend checking out this venue if you like local breweries.

NIce local brewery. Smelled wonderfully like beer. Bought some cans to bring home. I did not stay on the patio, but it seems like a small place for locals.

This small craft brewery is super welcoming. I got a flight of five beer ether had on tap: English Pale Ale, a Porter, an IPA, an apricot sour, and an APA. Once I was done, the man behind the bar asked what I thought. When I shared the ones I enjoyed : the Porter and the Apricot Sour, he gave me a sample of a raspberry sour, which was even better. In all, a friendly place with good beer.
